Just a reminder that my books are still open and we are accepting projects if you are looking for quality taxidermy needs in the Southeast region of Wyoming. I know seasons are slowing down but some are still chasing those trophies, small or large we can practically do anything. Best of luck and remember to just go out and have fun and make lasting memories.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the shop will be closed Friday October 18-Sunday October 20 and also Friday October 25-October 27. Chasing elk with my wife.

If you are needing taxidermy work, freeze your animal/cape and we can schedule something when we get back off the mountain.

After a long day of work, then family, then taxidermy work, I decided to look at the northern lights before bed. What a way to reflect and wind down before hitting the hay. Thank you to all that have chosen us at Banded Creations Taxidermy, without you I wouldn’t be doing something that I love. Yes it’s hard work, yes it takes some time away from family, but it is rewarded to preserve memories. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And if anyone is still looking to get some taxidermy work, I do have open availabilities still.

Here’s one that you don’t see too often around here, nice Black Buck from Argentina. Just delivered and couldn’t be happier how he turned out.
Hope everyone’s season is starting off good. It’s a hot one and the elk are heating up. And don’t forget about the doves, they were flying last night.

The 2024/2025 season is so close I can taste it, I’ll be out this Thursday chasing Wyoming pronghorn with the ole bow. Let us know if you’d like to preserve any of your memories this season with euro mounts, shoulder mounts, etc.

We are also excited about being a dealer for Skull Bracket, an awesome Wyoming company that provides high quality mounting options for your skulls.

Good morning from beautiful Wyoming! Sorry for being quiet the past few months, with the whole line between non-resident taxidermist and resident ordeal and all. But May 1st I will have my Wyoming residency and my books will be back open and will be able to get back to providing quality taxidermy items. Still waiting on the tanned hides to come back from the tannery, and day now.

Good morning everyone, just a reminder that I will have to close my books December 31 at midnight until May 15th, 2024. So if you are wanting to get any last minute animals in here’s your time to preserve that memorable hunt. If you have any spring hunts let me know and I will walk you through the steps to freeze them and we can start the process come May 15th.

***just to clarify, we are not moving, the subdivision developer/planning and zoning hasn’t shut us down (yet….😑), and not closing shop, just made a deal with Game and Fish that I wouldn’t accept new customers from January1-May 15, 2024 to not pay another year of non resident taxidermy $800😬. So no fret I am still here to help you out with quality taxidermy.***

Taxidermy PSA.

This post isn’t meant to call anyone out, all of us hunters have been there before, this is just a friendly reminder to all of us that may want to get a shoulder mount, please don’t cut more than what is needed. Also I would say the brisket region is a no fly zone for your knife. The brisket is a very beautiful intersection of hair, in the words of Cousin Eddie, my hair ain’t gonna look right!
When I’m doubt cut less and leave more.

Good morning hunters! Sorry for taking a small break from socials but we are back! Different location but the same level of service. With a bigger shop and more room to move we are kicking off the hunting season strong. Now in Wyoming, 30 mins east of Cheyenne, we would love to preserve your memories. Due to some regulations I will be taking customers until 11:59pm Mountain time on December 31st of 2023. And then will be opening up the books again May 1, 2024.

Well the move to Wyoming is complete, now the fun part of starting over. This season will be interesting with the rules and regulations of obtaining your taxidermy license along with starting academy for the fire department, but I will try my hardest to keep this taxidermy business going strong.

The new shop’s address is 1405 County Rd 142 Hillsdale, Wyoming 82060.

Bitter sweet moment right here, this wall marks the end of my first season as a taxidermist, finishing up the last of the shoulder mounts and heading off to customers. Excited for what the future seasons brings but I am excited to get back to firefighting as a career. I look forward to helping you preserve your memories for years to come…..just in a different location.
