POSTING FOR AWARENESS.

EDIT: This post just shows our personal experience with the shop. I know some have had good experiences with them, and others (such as ourselves) not so good.

Not a fan of making issues public, but I feel like we've given Geizcrylics Geizcrylics Kgd Navarro Alvin enough time to fix any wrongdoings with our order.

Around December 5-8, 2023 I placed an order for a 5x2x3' (approximately) enclosure for my Varanus Cumingi. Admittedly, I placed too much trust in the seller to meet my expectations as despite this being our first transaction, I've known their page for quite some time in the hobby. On December 21, I was being rushed by them to pick up the enclosure, as their shop was filled up and they needed space for new orders. I picked up the enclosure with my friend on December 22 and honestly was impressed with how it turned out, especially the paint job. Admittedly I wasn't able to test the lights out (especially the thermostat) or view every angle of it as we were rushing to head back since it was already late at night and we were coming from LOS BANOS LAGUNA and their shop was in MANILA. Just a day later, December 23, I noticed that the enclosure HAD NO SCREWS. Something I didn't bother to check when I initially got it as who would have thought that someone that has been making enclosures for several years would forget to secure it with screws? Also given the fact that we were being rushed to pick it up. Aside from that, the thermostat that was installed was not working, and the owner promised me a video of how to operate the thermostat. Firstly, I've been able to wire multiple units of the same thermostat STC-1000 with no problem as we've made multiple incubators using the same unit. However, I really could not get this to work. I decided to just wait for the shop owner's worker as HE SCHEDULED to send a person here on JANUARY 4 2024. Despite all the problems, I still decided to use the enclosure. Unsurprisingly, one of the fixtures FELL STRAIGHT into the water tub of my pet. Lastly, the LED fixture which has not been turned on for a total of more than 12 hours, was already burnt out and unable to switch on. All of the issues I stated were being communicated to the shop owner on a real time basis, some of which I just asked where I could source the materials (such as the LED light) so I would be the one to replace them. From January to February, the shop owner schedules with me for his worker to go here and would ghost me come the day set.

As seen from the messages, the shop owner only replied after almost 2 weeks after the threat of being posted. Even suggesting I bring the enclosure back to Manila from Los Banos just to fix problems that could've been avoided if they properly inspected it and MADE SURE THAT EVERYTHING was in place before RUSHING ME REPEATEDLY to pick it up to make space for new orders they would be accepting.

P.S. wasn’t a cheap enclosure din, closed it out at 17k. Parang nagpunit kami ng pera 😂😂
