There is so much I want to say about 2024 it’s hard to narrow it down.

Let’s begin with our stats:

✨198 dogs successfully adopted
✨ 11 returns (8 readopted)
✨ 6 pull assists
✨ 7 community spay/neuter
✨ 1 dog and 2 cats added to staff
✨ Staff attended trainings and conferences
✨ Hosted Training with Bria
✨ Implemented training Tuesdays and Thursdays
✨ Added 1 new rescue partner and 1 new transport partner
✨ Brought in and treated our first (hopefully only) parvo litter

I would say that this past year on paper was the best year The Pittie Project PNW has ever had. However, we, as a team, faced SO many challenges and were exposed to some pretty horrible people and experiences.

That being said, this team, OUR team held stronger than ever! I think in most of these cases it would have been so much easier to give up and run. Take a vacation, completely check out of rescue because let’s face it, none of us HAVE to be doing this.

I personally asked our team to put up with a lot this year for the sake of our dogs, and they stuck by me with absolutely no hesitation. Going into a new year knowing we will not be repeating any of the negativity and still we will have this team makes us truly unstoppable.

We live.
We learn.
We improve.
And we NEVER give up.

I love you all to the moon and back. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together in 2025 ❤️

Meet Turtle!

This big bundle of love joined us from our good friends . Poor Turtle found himself in the ER after swallowing a bee and being stung in the throat. It took Turtle some time and a couple missed flights but he is finally here!

A little more about Turtle:

🐢 Loves to learn new things
🐢 Working on figure 8 and crate training
