BEING A BREEDER. :) 🐶🤘💚 A SAD BUT WONDERFUL JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME.

In my life , I was able to share it with some of the most beautiful dog breeds there is. At the age of 5, I received my first ever canine bestie. A German Shepherd whom I call Ate Helga. She stayed with me for a decade or so and losing her is really a heartbreak 💔 then years after losing her , my heart was opened again for some canine love and I received my second canine angel , Phoebe a basset hound she stayed with me for a almost a decade again and she gave me 8 wonderful puppies and just like the latter. Her passing broke me into pieces and after that a wave of Lhasa Apsos and Shih Tzus went along my way and those years are also what I can consider God given moments.

I love dogs so much but losing them along the way is a burden no everyone of us can handle. After my Shih Tzus and Lhasa's waved their last hurrah I decided not to take care of another canine. I just don't want the feeling of losing a fur buddy again.

Then one day , In some weird manner my road cross paths again with another canine breed and that is the beagle. 🐶 I took under my wing 3 beautiful beagles. Phoebe ( yes I named it after my basset ), Doughnut the dad of my beagle pups and Marga the mom. ❤

This is the first time I planned on breeding. The business and s**t. I am ready for the approach whenever Marga or Phoebe gets pregnant.

But to my surprise the first batch of Marga are 7 puppies.

I am so happy to see 7 little pups and I won't deny the monetary value I'm seeing. 💵💰

But as time goes by , the sleepless nights , the p**p armageddon and the wee wee circus made my mind as weak and emotional whenever I am thinking that as each day goes by , the closer the day that the time they will leave us is coming closer. 😓

Then the first buyer came, at first I was excited coz I know I will have a return from all the investments we gave them however "I was wrong" I put more value to the "monetary return" but I never thought of the emotional impact this goodbye will mean to us. 💔

One by one our puppies are being taken by the respective buyers and I noticed deep down into myself there is a surge of pain that I cannot explain. Happy but broken at the same time. Not all people will understand how we feel about our dogs but surely they will understand how big our love ❤ for them is.

I am so happy to see this families receiving our fur puppies. Their smiles worth more than any monetary value there is. Knowing to myself that I was able to help produce this God given beings make a family happy is something. It is really something. ❤

I want to thank our Lord Jesus for giving humanity the chance to experience the love that our canine friends are offering.
Before I finish this essay of mine I will leave you guys with 3 thoughts that I learned from my experience as a dog breeder. :)

1. We don't choose the dog , the dog chooses us. ❤

2. Canines are God given gifts that humans don't deserve.

3. Dogs loyalty and love is a miracle and evidence that God exists. ❤
