Her mum says she’s a really good happy girl & is the love of her life for sure & she likes to climb on to her mums side of the bed every night for cuddles 💕

She’s grown in confidence massively as she was really scared of tunnels/balls/new people and men for a really long time. She’s a very smart girl & she can do lots of tricks, has amazing recall & is just genuinely such a good girl.

She has a bed in every room of the house & her mum says she is definitely the queen of their castle 🥰🐶💜

Bailey (Benson) So proud of this boy & his family 🥰🐶💙 Bailey was such a nervous boy & we managed to save him and put him into a wonderful private kennels to help him build his confidence with people and dogs. Then a wonderful family offered to adopt him. He loves his home and his little sisters but was still very nervous of men and loud nosies & started developing nervous aggressive behaviour like guarding the family grounds and chasing cyclist. Thankfully his mummy & daddy didn’t give up on him and allowed him the time to heal/develop. His big sister Skylar (golden retriever) has been a huge help with Bailey’s healing. She has given him so much confidence and they’re great together 💕💙 Bailey is in the best of health and he adores his mummy and has become her shadow. His mummy said that the family love him so much & he will be with them forever 😍

Martha now Poppy playing with her friend Big Dog Poppy’s family love her so much. That they can’t even remember a time that she wasn't with them 🥰 She really is their dream dog who they adore & she makes them laugh and smile every day & gives the best cuddles 💜

About Us

The dogs at the former “Doggie Warriors Rescue Sanctuary” near Larnaca, Cyprus are desperately looking for forever homes.

We took over the day to day running of the 71 dogs at the centre in January 2020, shortly after the confirmation of an outbreak of distemper and amid allegations that the former management had misused funds. We are currently under lockdown due to the distemper, but as soon as the lockdown is lifted, we will be finding forever homes for all of the dogs, and then closing the sanctuary. As a result, we will NOT be taking any more dogs in under any circumstances. We have several dogs who are already adopted and whose owners are eager for them to get home, and we will fly them as soon as we can.

We have put procedures in place to limit the spread of the virus, but the problem was already widespread. We will keep all our followers updated.

With the exception of adoptions that were arranged prior to January 2020, the ONLY valid adoptions for Doggie Warrior Dogs - Let’s Get Them Home are those arranged directly through this page. Please contact us if you have interest in any of the dogs.
