A few weeks ago we sent off a swab from Pippenmoor Painted Lady , aka, Saffie for testing.

Super pleased with these results! She is clear for a full panel. We have both eyes, hips and elbows booked for the summer to complete her health testing. (Other than yearly eye tests as normal)

This means both my girls are clear for full panels.

Onwards and upwards. My foundation will be built on top blood🩸, healthy, sound temperament and excellent working ability dogs.

Well thats a wrap to our 2020/21 season.

We are now in tier 4 along with most of the country which has halted play. However, we can not complain too much, as we had more days than expected earlier in the year.

Beautiful day to end on a high!

Huge thank you to FleekForm Working Springer Spaniels who has also been borrowing Lemur during the season to fill in a gap in her own team, due to inevitable injuries, girls coming in season and needing to rest team members due to the sheer amount of days completed.

Lemur, on only her second short season out, has proven herself to be a biddable, hardworking and an asset to any picking up or beating team.

Bring on 2021/22 season where, hopefully, we will be duel wielding the young gun, Saffron, and Lemur. But much training to be done in the mean time.

We don't just have spaniels here at Eatherra Gundogs, we have also have a JRT cross who is an excellent pest control dog and a rare breed Miniature American Shepherd. Who, despite his size, is a fierce little man who can turn his paw to anything.

Out with the larks this morning to catch the sunrise and boy was it worth it.

On even better news, that when lockdown 2.0 ends next week, we can get back out picking up! Excited!

Her first full birds, as previously we have only done some wings on and off dummies.

To say she enjoyed her first session would be an understatement! Keen as mustard this young 5 month old pup!

Eatherra Gundogs are on holiday in Norfolk, because enjoying play time is just as important as enjoying your work!

We have four dogs, in our ever growing pack, which are not gundogs. Ruby a JRT cross and Dash who is a Miniature American Shepherd. 🥰

Our youngest girl, Saffron had a photoshoot last week as part of a pupdate pack we purchased from the awsome Jessica Coates Photography to document how she grows and changes.

She is currently 17 weeks old and is mostly toothless due to teething, but she is everything we had hoped for and more!

We have really been inspired by Work Shop Raw to liven up our bowls!

We feed raw but just recently I have been feeding ready made completes as its convenient and thats OK but its time to shake things up!
