Sweet Adella Rose.
When Miss Adella started daycare at Puppy Play LLC she was a bit unsure. She was nervous and needed to work through some separation anxiety.
After gaining her trust, we found out what her favorite things were and put them to use. With the help of Nala, Adella learned she could relax, have fun, explore and most importantly to her, play in the water as much as she wanted.
We are so proud of Miss Adella and love seeing her let loose and have fun every time she visits.

Meet Fanta!
Fanta is a female mountain cur, about 4 months old. She is sweet, smart, cuddly, and available for adoption from Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center. She is up to date on all her shots and will be spayed when she is old enough.
Today she came to Puppy Play LLC for a playdate with Nala and Freckles. After that we went to the mall to meet people and work on socialization. Fanta is quick to learn and eager to please.

At 8 years old Rosie has discovered she loves to chew. Finally. This has given her great relief from her anxiety.
Rosie was taken in by us in 2021 to prevent her being sent back to a shelter due to behavioral issues stemming from anxiety. She couldn't be left alone or she would spin in circles, p*e, and bark uncontrollably. She was dangerously overweight, had wounds on her ears and tail, and was missing half of her fur.
Rosie's rehabilitation began with getting her healthy. She was placed on a new diet and given time and a safe space to decompress while her wounds healed. She has come a long way with training and behavior modification.
Rosie is now healthy and loves to run and play with all the dogs. It took a long time, but Rosie has found she loves toys and a good chew can help the time pass putting her mind at ease.

Meet Sophie, a 5 year old German shepherd from Florida. She is at Puppy Play LLC for board and train to work on obedience and some behavior modification.
She is beautiful, sweet, and quick to learn. I look forward to working with Sophie so she can be the best girl for her people.

Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center Pancake update 🐾
Pancake was vetted and neutered this week. Once he's recovered, he will begin obedience training to learn how to behave around people. He is now crate trained and housebroken, but has some work to do on separation anxiety and obedience.
So far, he has been quick to learn and eager to please. Pancake gets along well with other dogs of various sizes and would do well in a home with other dogs.

Meet Pancake! Another member of the "Breakfast Club", a group of pups taken in by Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center. Pancake arrived at For The Love of Dogs by Puppy Play, LLC this morning to decompress and work on trusting humans.

When I launched For The Love of Dogs one year ago on this date I had no idea how it would grow. After telling every person I met about what I do and why I'm doing it and handing out hundreds of business cards and meeting some great people with awesome pets I am grateful to say I am SO excited for the future. This year has given me the opportunity to explore options for my business and a chance to set and reach goals greater than I ever imagined. 🍾Here's to the next year and thank you for making this year a success!
