WOW! We are so pleased the way this tank turned around. We got a awesome opportunity to help out a local school teacher Mrs. Rogers right here in Rockingham with her Red Ear Slider Turtle tank. Coming into this job we had a 55 gallon tank running off a fish tank filter with one little floating dock, bare bottom and the water level being too high due to the filter situation. Mrs. Rogers was given these turtles from a past teacher and just wasn’t comfortable with the way this tank was setup and was seeking knowledge and supplies to get everything on the right track. We offered her our services and she and the school was all for it so we came in with the works! Mrs. Rogers went above and beyond for these turtles. First we had to relocate this tank and table from one classroom to another. We drained, cleaned, and swapped the background around from the blue to green to give this tank the full naturalistic aquatic look. Next Mrs. Rogers had sand that we placed down into the tank with a nice thick layer across the bottom. We set her up with dual sponge filtration in each corner of the tank. We brought 30 Gallons of “RD Aquarium Services” pre filtered R/O water on site to assure this water was safe for these turtles and filled the tank a little more than 50%. Mrs. Rogers also had a awesome floating turtle dock for these little guys to get up out of the water, and a piece of driftwood she boiled for hours to assure the wood was clean and safe. We added some rock to the corners of the tank to hide the sponge filters and to allow the turtles to have more to move around on and use to grip. Lastly we added live plants with larger sized pebbles around them to anchor them down a little more as well as having more for the roots to run threw. When all was said and done we were very happy with the look of this tank and so was Mrs. Rogers! Thanks for this awesome opportunity Mrs. Rogers and we’re glad we were able to assist in getting your little shelled friends in better spirits!

This project right here is one we take much pride in. The turn around on this room was way better than we anticipated and we got this done in less than 2 weeks. Coming into this room there were 18+ year old out dated systems. We started dismantling and removing the systems to find the tile underneath were damaged do to major rust stains from the steal braces underneath. We also discovered the paint on the walls was in rough shape. So we decided to give this room a major remodel. We ripped up the old tile and made the decision to stick with the concrete floor and seal it to avoid any slippery floors and damages. We decided to go with a deep blue for the walls to draw more attention to the New systems we were installing. The Systems we installed are top of the line Marineland Dual Sump Rain Maker Bio-Wheel systems equipped with UV sterilizer’s and preset aluminum heaters as well self shut off pumps if the water levels dropped in the sumps. LED strip lights with blue/white rays. These systems have such a keen look to the eye. Brushed aluminum with locking doors. Acrylic tanks. The entire system is flushed against its self so no bulging doors or unnecessary accents on them. We put a lot of time effort and patience to get this room to what it is today. Check out this beautiful Lake Malawi African Cichlid tank we assembled in local Rockingham pet shop. We took a tank and stand that is over 15 years old, gave it a little hobbyist love and elbow greese and refurbished it to look its full potential. This tank speaks for it self.
