We had a great weekend at MADfest in Lexington this past weekend!

Sophie put in two relaxed/consistent tests in the CDI ring in the PSG and I1. Super proud of her!

Vinny, owned by Helle Stewart, was an absolute super 🌟. He won all of his classes, earning a 9 and 10 in his last test. Only his second show, but he acted like a seasoned pro.

Karen Fox and Bully made their 4-3 debut and put in two great tests!

We are so grateful for all the organizers and volunteers for the show, looking forward to next year!
Thank you Viktoria Manley, Hailey Paige Clifford, Kim Johnson Schmidt, and Parker Schmidt for all of your help-couldn't have done it without you!

Offered for sale:

Bella is a super sweet, 6 year old, 17h, black, Dutch warmblood/percheron mare. She has has been in professional dressage training for the past three months. She is solid walk/trot/canter, can be trail ridden with others and by herself, and brought over some trot poles. She currently goes out with a group of mares, but has also been turned out by herself without issue. She is being sold through no fault of her own, she is just too tall for her current owner. Stands for the farrier and trailers well. Super sweet girl!Bella is green, but would be the perfect project for someone to go in any direction with a little more training.

Located in Scottsville, Virginia.

We had a great midweek show at ERAHC in Lexington, Virginia!

Sophie is officially an I1 horse! We had two decent tests that earned us a 64% and a 68%-she also got FEI High Point on Thursday.

Susan Laurie's, Wilhelmina, was super (per usual)! She finished qualifying for regionals at first level and stayed in the 70s in all her classes!

Kim Schmidt's, Charleston, had his first real debut! He earned consistently in the upper 60s at training level. Some normal baby distractions, but overall such a good boy!

Kim Schmidt's, Don Dinero, got some more exposure at fourth level. Ending the show with a nice consistent test.

Hailey Clifford and her boy Charlie had their first recognized dressage show! Hailey did a beautiful job riding and made some great progress this year!

Molly Bull and Nashville finished qualifying for championship-a highlight being her 74% in T-3!

Karen Fox and Bully finished qualifying for championships at third level. Starting to add some extra sparkle ✨ to her tests!

Dressage at Lexington was a hit this year!

Sophie exceeded my expectations and was reserve champion in the PSG Challenge with a 69% on Friday. She then won her PSG class on Saturday with a 68.9%. Consistency has always been a huge challenge for her, so this was a wonderful surprise.
A huge thank you to Josh Shoemaker and Custom Saddlery for keeping my picky girl super happy-could not do it with your support!

Susan Laurie's, Wilhemena, finished off qualifying for championships at training and first level.

Kim Schmidt's, Charleston, put his big boy pants on and got a taste of horse show life as a non-compete.

Molly Bull and her boy Nashville debuted first level (at his second show nonetheless!) and got some great scores and blue ribbons 🥇

Karen Fox and Bull showed 3-3 for the first time and they qualified for championships and got reserve SHAC third level!

Kim Aust and her amazing pony Skippy got her final scores for her bronze medal 🎉🎉

Peta Wylie and her all three of her boys got some more great experience in the ring. Wookie being the big star winning his third level class 🥳

Lisa Macchi and Sunny got back in the ring and put in some great first level tests, aiming for some freestyles in the future!

Huge thank you for Viktoria Manley for being my groom/sanity superstar (despite it being her birthday weekend)!
Also, super grateful for Kim Johnson Schmidt and Hailey Paige Clifford from my Grayson Farm family.

On to the next 🕺

Lily is a 12 year old, 14H, registered Haflinger, who is in fact just about as cute as it gets!
She is being offered for sale through no fault of her own. She is super versatile whether its dressage, jumping, or fox hunting-this girl does it all with ease! Lilly is forward thinking, comfortable, trainable, sensible/safe and as sweet as they come! To top it all off she comes running to you when called in the field 😊

She started her dressage training only a month ago and is already schooling 1st level with some bits and pieces from second. She is super trainable and as far as jumping goes-she goes over anything and everything.

Prior to her recent dressage training she has been fox hunting for the past two years. She has ridden in 1st and 2nd flight and as a staff horse-all have been performed with her owner riding her one handed in a hackamore.

This past weekend she had her dressage debut and got better with every test-ending the weekend with a 74% and high score of the day.

Don't miss the opportunity to sn**ch this cute little thing up! Contact me at 5616289068 with any questions.

We had a successful MADFest at the Lexington Horse Center this weekend! It was a week of firsts for all ponies and people.

Hannah competed Carrie McCory’s, Lily, at training level and she rocked it! She has only been doing dressage for the past month and she has come along so quickly. She ended her debut with a 74% at training level and High Score for training/first/ & second levels. She is FOR SALE!!

Hannah also competed Susan Lauries, Minna, in her showing debut as well. She competed training and first level and consistently scored in the upper 60s.

Hannah and Sophie both had their CDI debut at PSG. Unfortunately, Sophie had some unfortunate fussiness and “opinions”, but onward and upward (hopefully! 😂). Their national PSG test was much more relaxed and ended with a 63.8%, with so much room for improvement.

Molly Bull competed her new boy, Nash, for the first time-he was a super star! They even broke into the 70s.

Karen Fox and Bully got the rest of her scores for her bronze! Super impressive considering she started her dressage season out at first level.

Thank you Jen Schnelli for all of your help and Pati Pierucci for your support in coming all the way from Texas 🥰

Now onto the next one!🎉

Wonder what next year will bring🎉

Hannah Pierucci Schmidt Dressage

HANNAH PIERUCCI SCHMIDT is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Hannah started riding at a very early age and continued to ride, train, and develop her skills under her mom, Pati Pierucci's, tutelage for the past 25 years.

Currently offering training, sales, clinics, and travels to local barns in the area. Hannah has significant experience with training and starting young horses through the FEI levels and has trained extensively with Robert Dover and Kathy Connelly in Wellington, Florida.

After graduating high school in Charlottesville, VA Hannah got her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech and then moved down to Houston, TX to start her training business alongside her mother. While living in Houston she had up to 15 horses from green broke to FEI in training at a time while also traveling to local barns in the area and traveling for clinics in San Antonio, TX. Hannah moved back to Virginia to finish out a degree in nursing and to make her way back “home” just south of Charlottesville.

Hannah was also selected for the Dressage Foundation's International Dream Program, Robert Dover's Future Stars Program, and USDFs Young Rider Graduate Program.
