We've had tons of private inquiries, they all have the same red flags:
1) PRICE - if the puppy is being advertised for 600-1000 - its not legitimate
2) Look at the background of all the different dogs. Are they the same? Do a reverse image search and you'll see that these images are stolen from breeders and pet owners
3) Carefully review the website, they often copy/paste the website and forget to change names in spots.
4) Do you see puppies from newborn -to-8 weeks? Do you see them with their siblings? If not, chances are they are stolen pics.

It has all of the typical red 🚩🚩 flags that all buyers should know.

Another scam page is popping up being shared by a scammer James Ricky. This guy is scamming people. They do not have any puppies for sale. They are trying to get you to wire funds to their account.

There are multiple websites just like this one that are out to scam people. Let's break this website down and point out all the red flags.

Honestly In the current market any pomsky under 2000 should be questioned if the dog is a pomsky.

Average price today is 3000-6000.

This was sent in by Ashley Alonzo with NorCal Pomskies:

"It’s come to our attention that someone is impersonating our kennel. A person contacted us saying a guy was re-homing 2 of our puppies and they wanted more information. Well they definitely were not our puppies or the dogs they were saying we’re the parents. They gave this phone number (in text screenshot) and said it was us and the guy pretended to be us 😡 Just wanted to let you know in case anyone is doing this to other breeders. Below are the pictures of the puppy and the 2 dogs they are saying are the parents, none of those dogs are ours."

So the warning is that there are some who are pretending to be good breeders, but are not related to those kennels at all. If you did a reverse search on the phone number, you would see it comes out of San Antonio, Texas and is not related to NorCal Pomskies. Scammers are getting smarter every day and now trying to clone real breeders.

Everything right here on the very first puppy ad page:
1) Age, all scammers seem to mark their puppies at 10 or 11wks
2) Registered (at least this one doesn't say AKC 🤣)
3) Potty trained at 11 weeks...that's just funny.
4) Price! Pomskies run 4xs that for low quality ones.
5) BUY button: No good breeder allows a puppy to be bought without an interview process.

Pomskies are not registered with AKC at this time.

Pomskies are not priced anywhere near 600 dollars.

Things to ask the breeders.

Can I set up a time to video chat with the puppies? If you get no response well that is a scam.

You should be able to find some social media on the breeder. If it feels to good to be true it is.

We feel it is important for you as a potential Buyer to meet us and our lovely pom puppies. It is just as important that we get to know you. After all, you are potentially going to become a member of the IDEAL POMSKY PUPPIES family! Our family extends across the country and even overseas.

We got scammed 💔 we wanted to get our Aspen a sister and we payed for the new puppy, and then airfare with special pet porter weather special required stuff.... "warrantied pay back Refund if couldn't deliver the puppy " they don't even answer the phone or email anymore!!. I'm so heartbroken!!!💔😭

Friendly reminder to always ask to FaceTime your breeder if things feel off. The average pomsky is priced between 3000-6000 in our current market, If it's less that 3000 I would be concerned. Reach out if you need verification.

Puppy Scams are at an all time high!
When looking for a new puppy, do your research and investigate carefully.

Rescues and shelters are charging close to 500 for a puppy now (if it's not a Pitbull), so expecting a Pomsky to be that price is just asking to be scammed. Decent quality ones will run 2500+.

2) Price - Market runs 2k-6k. If you find a puppy for under 2k, most likely a scam

Just a heads up to anybody looking for a new Klee Kai, me and my partner very nearly got scammed by a person selling puppies, please be aware of this email ([email protected]) as soon as we started to ask for further proof of the puppy before we sent the money to him, he said he couldn’t and tried to reassure us that he was real. After a few emails of dodging the request, I searched his email on google and it shows him trying to sell all different types of dogs in each advert from different areas of the country, while changing his “home” location. A close shave and gutted it wasn’t real (the price was the biggest red light as she was cheeper than normal)

Ask the breeder to do a live chat with the puppies. If it seems to good to be true it probably is. Pomskies are not cheap. Please do your research before sending any money to someone with only a website.

Scam alert. First thing to ask to avoid getting scammed it to ask to video chat the owner with the puppies. This will typically w**d out the scammers as they don't have puppy's. Remember you can always reach out to us and ask if you are unsure. Pomskies price between 2500-5000. So 700 for these puppies is a huge red flag.

Attention.......... there is a FB account pretending to be a breeder and they are going around trying to scam people for money saying they are “selling” Shelby's Pomsky Zeus. They’ve stolen her photos from IG and attempted to scam through Craigslist ads, IG, and Facebook. They have been reported before but they continue to create new profiles. Please please don’t fall for this scam and if you see these photos and it’s not her account or please report the profiles. Thank you everyone! Always remember to go through an authorised breeder if you’re looking to buy a puppy and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Public announcement regarding Snowwoof pomskies aka Cait a pomsky breeder out of New Mexico.

This week Silver city and Grant County/Sherriffs department and Animal control of New Mexico have Seized 26 pomskies and Pomsky mixes including 2 ferrets from the home of Cait and her wife Katie Reyes-Macanliss also known as snowwoof pomskies.

They have 2 cases including 27 charges of Cruelty to Animals and 108 charges citing everything from Abuse, Neglect, No vaccinations, No rabies, No individual licenses, No kennel license, and deplorable conditions to name a few. Cait Reyes-Macanliss is being charged by both the county and the state of New Mexico and her wife is being charged by the County. This was confirmed by the City Animal Control Officer who in fact took possession of all dogs and ferrets after seeing the conditions for herself. Caroline aka Cait Macanliss is the Founder of the International Pomsky Association.

IPA has been questioned numerous times and asked if Numbers of breeders are so important to them that they are willing to overlook the issues they have. What are they doing to ensure these are not back yard breeders and puppy mills. Who is actually in Charge of this Association?

There was one customer who actually posted a truthful review on Snowoofs page and no one cared to verify?

Animal control said it’s more likely than not that Cait will NOT be able to get her dogs back and they will have to spay/ neuter and vaccinate then rehome all of them. They will not be able to do so until a Judge determines what charges Cait and Katie will actually be charged with and whether they will be allowed to keep some or none of their animals.

If the dogs are placed for adoption we will help them with finding homes. Don't buy puppies from breeders if you can't see real videos and pictures of dogs in a clean environment. You should be able to see health records, vet appointments and ask every question with ease.

Stonehill pomskies is a breeder out of KY she is using Oceanview pomskies photos as their own. This breeder has uploaded photos of other people's dogs to different sites claiming them as her own. Please be sure to look for red flags when purchasing a puppy.

Always ask to see the mother and puppies live on Facebook video chat or FaceTime.

Best tip we can give is to screen your breeder.

1: Do a video chat to be sure the mother and babies are with the seller and that the puppy is real. Most scammers request funds and dont actually have any puppies.

2: Go with your intuition, if it's to good to be true it probably is. Pomskies are not cheap, typically run between 2000-4000. If your getting one for 500 I would be worried.

3: Ask for embark results on parents. Are they clear of genetic issues? Are they the breed you were promised? Also one area most won't automatically show is the inbreeding ratio. This is something we always provide along with health and breed dna.
