Did you know that the track gets shut when there’s thunder & lightening? For the safety of the horses and riders 🐎
The track was shut for around 35mins last week, as we waited for the storm to pass over. LUCKILY the Olympics was on in the trainers hut, so it kept these 2 entertained while waiting for the track to re-open.

Behind the scenes of some youngsters learning to go in, stand quietly and jump out of the barriers.
Creating a good barrier experience is so important at this early stage of their careers. Lucky to have great barrier attendants and well behaved babies.
It’s all about building confidence, and not rushing them too soon. After barrier education, they will progress to jump-out stage, and then off to the trials when they are ready 💪🏼
