Congratulations to all involved with Art Volant. She has always been close and brave, but today she notched her first win, and we don’t think it’ll be the last. An affordable Flying Artie filly that we purchased as a yearling with and has now has a bright future ahead of her.
The stable had a great weekend with two of our older statesmen. ANG POW came back to the winners circle for his 7th win, in R2 BM78 over 1350m with aboard. Terrifically ridden and we always thank for looking after him. And of course COASTWATCH who saluted in the R9 LISTED LUSKIN STAR STAKES over 1300m at Scone. They both fought hard late, and won at great odds! We pride ourselves on getting the most out of our athletes, we are so thrilled for all connections.

Golden Slipper Day was a fantastic success for many reasons. Our stable enjoyed victory in the first, for the ever consistent Elettrica. She’s been beaten by poor barriers but got the breaks on Saturday and put them away by 3L.

Navy Blood bounces back this time in his second up run over 1200 metres at Gosford. Showing an electric turn of foot and winning in great style, this will be his second win in his very short career.
He is a horse on the rise, who is still learning and developing. We look forward to seeing what else this promising c**t can do.

Barrier Education 🐎 Behind the scenes of some youngsters learning to go in, stand quietly and jump out of the barriers. Creating a good barrier experience is so important at this early stage of their careers. Lucky to have great barrier attendants and well behaved babies. It’s all about building confidence, and not rushing them too soon.
