UPDATE: FOSTER FOUND

Hud is a year old, neutered, HW-negative, and weighs 23-25lbs.

Our rescue partner has this to say:
"Hud is extremely loving and borderline needy 😆. Just wants to be in your lap and pet and loved. Plays well with the big dogs and knows his place when he gets too playful, but cats are an absolute no. He has clearly been crate trained and is very good at staying/sleeping in it without issue. He minds very well and responds to verbal commands. He loves to go on walks but he gets car sick every time (puked in my car 5 times so far). House trained and hasn't been destructive to furniture, shoes, etc."

FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPTER NEEDED - Could arrive Sat 1/10

Maci is 2yo, spayed, HW-negative, and weighs 70lbs. She is excellent with other dogs and people.

Our rescue partner has this to say:
"Maci is house trained, very sweet and loving, and great with a huge variety of other dogs."

Our rescue partner in AL, Free State Four Paws, has lots of great dogs like Maci who have been waiting a year or longer to be adopted or pulled by a northern rescue. Maci has been there since spring 2024 when she was just a puppy. We're hoping to get her up here where she's more likely to find a forever family. We pulled her sister Laci last winter and her brother Rossi this past summer, and they're amazing dogs.

Introducing Darby! 😍 He's a little over 1-1/2 years old, HW-negative, and neutered.

His foster mom has this to say:
"The only thing bigger than Darby's size is his heart. He is a total love bug who loves to snuggle and LOVES people and attention. He is also a big goofball who will keep you laughing at his antics. He can be very mischievous but is easily redirected. Darby is an outdoor boy at heart and would stay outside all the time if he could. He loves to go for walks and has great leash manners. He is working on potty training and making good progress; he has a very identifying potty dance so its easy to direct him outside. He does not like the crate but he has been doing well with staying in a certain room of the house when we arent home. He has done well at home alone for up to 6 hours and he usually sleeps through the night. Usually around 9pm he is ready for bed and will let you know he wants time alone on the couch (in the cutest way). He has been very respectful of my cats and will sniff them or ignore them all together. He has been good with my female german shepherd. Sometimes he likes to push her buttons (like little brothers can do) but he backs down when she let's him know she has had enough. We dont have kids, but he would probably do better with bigger kids just due to his size and tendency to jump around while he is playing. Darby really is just a big, silly sweetheart and its so easy to love him!"
