If you placed an order for 2 boxes of hair dye and a foot care kit from Amazon and didn't get it, we got it by mistake. (no judgement, I dye my hair too lol)

I suspect the person had sent wish list items to us previously and forgot to change the shipping address back to their own. It came addressed to Salfid Rescue but had no other paperwork so we can't trace the intended recipient.

If you have a side hustle you'd like to promote, or make a product/craft you'd like to donate, or could ask your employer for a donation, or want to put something together yourself, or donate a gift card . . . ANYTHING is appreciated. It doesn't have to be something that stands alone, we can combine items together to make bigger / complete gift baskets.

Meet Indy! ❤️ She is a 1yo Staffordshire/Shepherd mix, and is a lean & muscular 45-50lbs.

Her foster mom has this to say:
"Indy has been in our fostering care for 6 months. She just celebrated her first birthday in April. She’d love to find her forever person, couple, or family. She has come along ways since joining us. However, we do feel she’d do best in a family with older kids. She has lots of energy and gets very excited, and could be a knock-over risk for young children. Indy could really benefit from having another playful dog in the house to help with her bundles of energy, and is in our home with our 2 other adult dogs, but we still haven’t found that right other dog that Indy will match with in a forever home. We feel she would also do great with a person or family that could take her for walks, play tug, fetch, chase and any other fun you could think to have with her. I currently have her in enrolled in agility at High Octane Agility in Colmar. I’d love to see her continue this sort of activity in her new home. High Octane Agility offers many classes that you and she could have fun with. Indy would also love to keep you company at night snuggled up in your bed. I bring Indy to rescue events but they’re not really her thing and can be over-stimulating. I’d be happy to arrange a meet and greet with you and Indy outside of our events."

🐱 Cat-Friendly Dog 🐱

Meet Denali! 😍 She is a 6 month old Shepherd mix and weighs about 32lbs. It seems at this point she's going to be on the smaller side for a Shepherd mix.

Her foster mom has this to say:
"Denali is such a love! She is good with other dogs and cats. Denali is very food motivated and is willing to learn. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night. She lets you know when she has to go out."

Meet Chloe! ❤️ She is a 4-1/2 month old suspected Pittie mix. (DOB is 12/19/23)

Her foster has this to say:
"She is such a sweet girl! Chloe is crate trained and very good in the crate. She loves a good chew bone. Chloe is great with kids and our dog. She is interested in cats but has not hurt mine. She will chase if they run but really just wants to sniff and give them kisses. She's okay on the leash, we are continuing to work on that. Chloe can be shy / timid at first when she meets someone and lowers to her belly, tail wagging. But she will love you when she's warmed up! She knows Sit and we are working on Leave it and Stay. She is house trained with regular potty breaks."
