Royce is our 8 years old, male chocolate labrador retriever. When he was a puppy we fed him organic kibbles and he always had dandruff/dry skin and elevated creatinine no matter what store bought food we feed him. He’s also a very picky eater and would force us to change his food twice or more a month. At an early age the vets prescribed him to be on maintenance medicine for his kidney & immune system and was advised to be on canned renal diets for good. We we’re so devastated since he was just 3 years old at that time. We always thought feeding him the best organic kibbles would make him healthy and yet his kidneys showed elevated creatinine. He needed a custom diet that would control his kidney levels and if possible normalize it. We changed his diet to low phosphorus, gently cooked, balanced, homemade diet and added Vitamin E, CoQ10, and probiotics to supplement his needs. After 3 months into his low phosphorus diet his dry skin went away, his creatinine levels got better and after almost a year it became normal✨

We adopted Patchi 2 years ago. She’s 3 years old, a distemper survivor and has enamel hypoplasia as a result of the virus. She had a very bad case of yeast infection that made her lose most of her hair and had malassezia on her neck, butt, ears and elbows. Her former owners gave her antibiotics, fungal shampoo and creams as prescribed by the vet but couldn’t solve her skin problem. We had to do an elimination diet to figure out what causes her skin to itch. We changed her diet to limited ingredient, gently cooked, balanced, homemade diet and added kefir, fish oil and virgin coconut oil to supplement her needs and help her skin recover. After 6 months into the diet her hair grew ☀️
