When interacting with a timid , you can try these tips:

Be patient: Don't set unrealistic expectations and go at your dog's pace.

Use positive training methods: Ignore and redirect unwanted behaviors instead of punishing your dog.

Use gentle body language: Stand sideways instead of head-on, avoid direct eye contact, and keep your movements slow and predictable.

Don't force interaction: Let your dog choose when they feel comfortable interacting with you, family members, guests, or strangers

How to keep alive after a

2 most important things for are temperature and dissolved oxygen!

**Temperature: you can slow the heating process by keeping the aquarium lids open and floating a small amount of ice in the tank, and replacing the ice as it melts.
**Salt water tempurature: Place the ice in a plastic bag to contain the melting water and to avoid diluting the salinity of brackish or marine tanks.

Oxygen: easiest thing to use is a battery-powered air pump with an airstone
If battery power is not an option, use a cup or pitcher and remove some water and slowly pour it back into the tank.

Filtration:
** First, unplug the filter (or filters) from the wall socket. Then remove the media from the filter as soon as possible.
** Rinse the media in some aquarium water and then put it back in the aquarium. As long as you keep dissolved oxygen levels near normal, the beneficial nitrifying bacteria will stay alive.

Leave it alone:
** If it’s dark, the fish use minimal dissolved oxygen.
** If the power remains off for days, or even a week or more, avoid disturbing the fish as much as possible, which also means no feeding! Most fish are easily able to go without for up to a week, if necessary. (***check with your local fish expert to know your fish's eating requirements)

Lat resort, if the power is out for more than a week, ask your favorite aquarium/fish store if they could take your fish for a week.
