A Heartfelt Goodbye from the Rescue World.
For as long as I can remember, my heart has always led the way. I believed—fiercely—that life was more important than money. That every dog and cat, no matter how broken or forgotten, deserved a second chance. And I’ve been honored to give that to so many souls along the way.
But love, as powerful as it is, doesn’t pay the bills. The truth is, the cost of saving lives has caught up to me and despite every effort, the financial strain has become too heavy to carry. Adoption fees don’t cover medical costs and there is always a balance.
It’s with deep sadness that I share that I will no longer be able to continue rescue work. Writing those words breaks my heart because I know it means more animals won’t get the help they need and deserve.
I take comfort in knowing that the lives I did save—those wagging tails, healed hearts, and happy ending purrs—mattered. Every life changed was worth it. Every tear, every sleepless night, every dollar stretched beyond reason—it was all worth it.
Thank you to everyone who believed in me, supported me, and stood beside me through the highs and heartbreaks. You helped make a difference in countless lives, and for that, I am forever grateful.

Please no negative comments, I’ve beat myself up about this more than anyone could. I’m tired, I’m broken and I’m barely getting by.
