This goes for us too. I will add- breeders are not responsible for bringing an animal to you ever. If we do this- it’s out of kindness. The amount of messages I’ve seen from people expecting me to drive their animals to them is just silly. I am not DoorDash for rabbits.
We love sharing our animals with folks, but please be respectful of our time and don’t contact us if you’re not willing to make the drive or have transport ready to go. We are located in Maryland also.
I feel like this needs to be said.
I don't know what's happening lately, but it's been happening a lot. If you are interested in a rabbit from my Rabbitry please be 100% certain you're willing to make the trip to get it or have planned transport. (I'm located in Southern Maryland) And be willing to compensate me for my time if I'm meeting transport. I'm almost to the point in which I will no longer be selling to anyone unless it's hands on at a show or people I have worked with in the past. Just like you, I have a family, 500 things going on and my time is precious. I am tired of wasting my time answering questions, sending pictures, jumping through hoops to try and make things happen and then you can't work with me.
I will say this one last time.
IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO COME TO ME TO PICK UP OR PAY A SMALL FEE FOR ME TO MEET TRANSPORT, DO NOT MESSAGE ME!
Sounds harsh but in all seriousness this is ridiculous to even have to post. I've driven hours one way to get what I wanted. I don't like tire kickers. Go somewhere else.
