So, new year means new products! We want to add some beds, a few new clothing pieces for cats and dogs, and some cat collars and harnesses. For collars, do you want to see luxury pieces like leather or velvet with jewels, or the same type of fabric options we have for our clothing? We will not be doing dog collars unless custom ordered as there are many incredible options here as is.

What are some things you’re hoping for this year?

We have some new things planned, including the launch of our kitty off the rack sizing.

We will be as always learning and forever trying to improve our pieces.

We hope to be adding small beds, and maybe even some stud pants to the list this year!

I am looking for a seamstress , nothing fancy but would be amazing if you could serve, but straight stitch also works. Cut of fabric is provided and instructions, but I need more hands! This is will be done as piece work not a salaried position and will run until late winter early spring. Msg me for more details

This weekend we will be at the national cat club cat show in Fredericton Nb. We will have, for the first time, both retail sized shirts AND stud pants. We will also have Canadian made grooming line Naturo-Patte Nue Era, and some other handmade items! There are limited quantities available, so be sure to stop in and say hello!

Honest opinion, are my pieces reasonably priced for the quality and the fact that each piece is handmade to order?

Would you rather pay a cheaper price for premade shirts?

Is price or quality the determining factor?

We are adding some in stock pieces over the next few months for cats, I am thinking these will be slightly cheaper then the custom pieces. These will be available in normal sizing xs-xxl

💙💛🇺🇦To show our support for our Ukrinae friends and breeders, and to support our efforts to bring cats to North America, we will be donating 25% of every item sold to the efforts of Special K Sphynx and Devon rex. These funds will go directly to cover transportation , travel crates, food and other expenses to bring these kitties from kyiv ukraine to North America.
We will also be adding a donation listing to our Etsy store. All of these proceeds again, go directly to our efforts and the breeders in Ukraine. 💙💛🇺🇦

Looking into hiring a social media manager. Duties would include creating interactive posts/ads to be posted to our social media pages (fb/Instagram/TikTok etc.) 3-5 times per week. This would be a contracted position, paid monthly. Would not be responsible for website maintenance, email reply’s or fb messages, only in growing our online presence.
Now, please note we have never considered hiring for this position. I try to manage our fb pages, but do not do so constantly, which I feel is causing us lost interest/sales.

This position would cover multiple branches under Special K, for clothing sales, kittens, and our charity Sierras Hope.

If you are a social media phenomenon, with years of experience, or even no experience but have a social media following yourself pls reach out to us. We will be reviewing resumes and contacting those successful applicants for interviews. We hope to have this position filled by mid March.

This week we had the pleasure of creating our very first fleece lined jacket for a very special boy named Thor! Tonight was the perfect evening to test it out and kept him toasty warm!
