We have an exciting new product range now in store… introducing Bugalugs!! 🐩 🐈 🇬🇧

Bugalugs is a relatively new British brand that’s swept across the UK pet market. It’s mission was to create cruelty free, human grade pet grooming and healthcare products.

We have had lots of positive feedback already from customers that have already tried it with their pets.

Their range includes shampoos and conditioners, eye and ear drops, eye wipes, calming supplements, nose and paw balms and even antibacterial spray!

It’s Dog Slobber Appreciation day!!

It’s completely normal, all dogs do it and they can’t help it!(if it is excessive or you suspect something is wrong please have it checked out by your vet)

Whilst we may not want it on our sofas or down our trousers maybe try one of our snuffle mats.
Hide their favourite treats in it and whilst they are finding them it’s a huge stimulation benefit and it mops up the slobber too!!

Today celebrates animals and their need for meaningful enrichment when kept in captivity or as pets!

🕷️ ⚠️ Arachnophobia Trigger Warning! ⚠️ 🕷️

Halloween may be over but Tarantulas are here to stay and they don’t have to be scary!

Tarantulas are classed as venomous. Although this sounds scary, most of them, especially those sold as pets, only have a bite with the same potency as a bee or wasp sting. They are also generally defensive rather than aggressive and will often only bite as a last resort.

Tarantulas can actually make very good pets, most are low maintenance to look after, many only need a small living space compared to other pets and they can even be very rewarding to keep if you have an interest in them!

Although some can be handled, most prefer to spend time in solitude and are best simply observed by their owner.

Tarantulas aren’t for everyone but they can make great pets! 🕷️ ❤️

He came in store to get some treats and was well and truly fussed over by all the staff! He even got a free treat or two for being such a good poser!

Did you know you can re-purpose your pumpkins!
You can make your own Snack-o-Lanterns!
The flesh is good for squirrels, foxes, deer and other mammals.
Not good for hedgehogs in huge quantities - if you have one that visits maybe portion what you put out.
Make your own bird feeders - birds love pumpkin seeds.
Dry the pumpkin seeds, don't add seasoning and pop them out for the birds to enjoy.
