Today marks the end of Drymarchon Breeding season with my female Vera Cruz Rubidus laying this morning.

For those who don't know, I have cut down my drymarchon collection significantly over the last year and a half and am down to just a pair of yellowtails, a pair of Guerrero rubidus and (my favorite) a pair of Vera Cruz Rubidus.

This year was very successful with 14/15 good eggs from the yellowtail, 10/10 from the guerrero and 22/22 good eggs from the Vera Cruz (yes you read that correctly!)

People ask why the Vera Cruz are my favorite of all the drymarchon, and this is one of the reasons. This female has now laid 62 perfect eggs over the last three seasons. I'd challenge anyone to find an indigo (not a cribo) who breeds like that!

Super Stoked!!!!! First ever reticulated pythons produced at HDH. These are 50% Super Dwarf (37.5% Kalatoa, 12.5% old school) with a small amount of jampea blood as well.

Pairing was a female Snow to a male Snow Motley Tiger (both 50% SD).

Hypo Pituophis Deppei Deppei.

I've decided to part with a pair of 2024 Vivid line hypo Durango Mountain Pine Snakes (Pituophis Deppei Deppei).

This is one of my last remaining and favorite of all my colubrid projects. I only produced this one pair in 2024 and had planned to keep them, but need to raise some funds.

The two available are the last two pictures. They start very dull as babies and begin their intense color transformation around a year or a year and a half old. The first two pics are a couple babies from 2023, a winter and a summer phase. They have just started their color transition.

As adults they are stunning. I have a summer phase female and winter phase male. Pics are available for interested parties.

Year and a half old Varanus Auffenbergi female bred here at HDH.

These are my favorite looking of all the odatria species. Very underrepresented in the hobby, and truly beautiful. The camera doesn't capture their in person look, their spots are somewhat blue in color, hence their old name of blue spot timors.

Sad to do this, but I've got to part with one of my breeder CB female sister Prasinus. I have raised these two sisters together since they were tiny babies, but sadly the last couple months they don't seem to get along particularly well, and I don't have another permanent enclosure available.

This girl is a breeding powerhouse. She has laid an 8 egg perfect clutch, and most of her clutches consist of 6 or 7 eggs. She is an eager breeder. Currently about 5 years old.
