Brandy's gang has been enjoying the splash pad these past few days 💦

⚠️ Prep for fireworks: Get your crates ready! Move them to a room with no windows and turn on a white noise playlist (Spotify and YouTube have many). Have some water (crate water bottles are great), high value chews (bully stick, cow hoof, chicken feet), a soft blanket, and anything else they like to snuggle with.

I recommend a crate over holding them because if they decide to bolt—scared animals will not behave as they usually do—a crate will better prevent an escape. I’ve had a dog lost at night and believe me, it’s a living nightmare. Use a crate and know it’s safer than your arms.

I have to bungee Fable’s door shut when I crate her because she can open it from the inside—consider crate locks, too.

I have used “Rescue Remedy” liquid drops by Bach Original Flower Remedies at dog shows to calm nerves (mine and my dog’s) and it seemed to help.

🐶 Pratt ✈️: My new mom picked me up today! She hung out with Mama C, played with us, and then I curled up in her lap and went to sleep ❤️💤 Signing off from Fiddlefigg and joining heather_gornak and crew!!

👱🏻‍♀️: So so happy for this pair!!! What a feeling to see fiddls bond with his new mom and to hear how good he is settling in!! It has been a great day 💞

🪺 Potential Dual Sired Litter: Fable x (CH Figg + Roux) 🪺

NOTE: This is not a confirmed pregnancy, just a completed breeding.

The whelping window would be: Sept. 24–30 | 9 week release date would be: Nov. 26–Dec. 2

This litter could have both coats, long and smooth.

Long coats will be Figg’s and can be black and chocolate in solid or merle. All will have tan points.

Smooth coats will be Roux’s and can be any color (black, blue, chocolate, lilac) in solid and brindle. Some may have tan points.

All puppies will be DNAed to confirm parentage but since Roux doesn’t carry for long coat, and long coat is recessive, it’s an unofficial way to determine before the results confirm.

All breeding dogs have been Embarked and are clear of genetic diseases, and have CHIC IDs (also clear).

SFC’s Bellamy Blue 42 and SFC’s A Crinkle in Time, Whittaker Wallace Hardy have arrived and are settling in 💕 Figg came along as Fiddlefigg Welcoming Ambassador.

Bellamy and Whittaker have been a long time in the making and I can’t believe they are finally here. They have some of my favorite dogs behind them—Sonora, Lidiya, Sebastian, Swayze, Meena, Utah—as well as the one and only SFC matriarch, Paisley ❤️

These two future hopefuls are very sweet, happy puppies. Bellamy has a luxuriously thick coat, both bring dilute (with tan points, my favorite), and Whittaker, the cherry on top, brings piebald (Cypress and Whittaker are piebald or “spotted on white”).

Thank you salemsfinestakcchihuahuas for these amazing future hopefuls ❤️ I cannot wait for us to watch them grow!
