There's nothing better after a long day of horse/pet care than coming in, popping your pyjamas on the radiator before changing into them and then chilling with a good film and a nice hot drink.. this is what we look forwards to 😍

6 years ago today, Simba came screaming into our lives - she had such a loud meow for such a tiny being! As an orphaned kitten, she needed around-the-clock care, initially being fed via a syringe and then moving onto a bottle. Her feeds were every 2 hours and then she’d need help to wee/poo afterwards 🫣

Raising Simba was a beautiful experience, despite testing my patience and stay-awake abilities 😳😂

She now lives with in the very capable hands of my Nan & Bamps and we wouldn’t change her for the world ❤️

Gone are the days of posting photos of pretty sunsets we’d watch together between our last calls/at the end of each day.. in are the days where we post photos of constellations we spot whilst stargazing at our calls - just look at the big dipper in the first photo! 😍

We’ve had 14 horses, 7 cats, 1 dog, and a handful of chickens for the past few days and we’ve absolutely loved it 🥰

At all times, we aim to prioritise the animals currently in our care and providing their owners with frequent updates. During such busy periods, we fall slightly behind on enquiries; we’re so sorry!! Whilst this is a lovely problem to have, we are setting aside an hour for admin this evening before we clock out for the day - everyone should have a reply from us by the end of the day 🤞🏻

Couldn’t resist posting this video of beautiful Louis, who has really come out of his shell and warmed up to us 🥰

When we started Louis’ pop ins a couple of months ago, he was a little shy of us. He’d enjoy some fusses, but more often than not would prefer to just have his food in peace whilst we played with his little sister 🙈

Whilst this is absolutely fine by us (we are always happy to go with the flow, meaning we’re happy with whatever makes the animals happy), the progress Louis is making is just so heart-warming to see - we’ve seen him gaining his trust in us and enjoying his fusses more and more with each visit.. followed by tonight, where he not only enjoyed his fusses, but felt comfortable enough to show some love back 🥹

Moments like this are absolutely what we live for.. we love you, Louis! ❤️
