Hello my lovelies
Have you ever seen so many dog coats!? Our amazing friend and supporter Caroline has sent 100 dog coats in 5 different sizes for our Egyptian beauties. While warm in the day time, at this time of year it is freezing cold at night so these will make 100 dogs very cosy!

Julie Dodd is looking for someone to take a suitcase to Cairo. This will contain the travel crate for a small dog (Cairo/Moose) due to travel to his new home in February, all packed round with badly needed blankets and supplies for the shelter.
Anyone? x

ESMA, the biggest animal shelter in Egypt needs your help.
At any one time, they care for anywhere between 1400 and 1800 rescued cats and dog. With such a large number of animals, they are always in need of pet care and medical supplies.
If you are travelling to Cairo and are happy to bring a few supplies over to ESMA, please post a comment on our Facebook wall to include the dates that you are travelling.
If you are happy to receive supplies while you are in the UK, please let us know and our supporters will send items for you to take over.
Posting items to Egypt is not possible due to the excessive import taxes that must be paid in order to receive a parcel.
ESMA takes in many animals with severe injuries and victims of cruelty. On top of that, they are very active with TNR (trap, neuter, release) and help feed the zoo animals, who lack adequate care.
VOLUNTEER VETS: If you are a vet or a student vet and would like to volunteer, ever for just a day or two, please contact us directly and we will help to arrange this. Help is particularly needed with spay and neuter surgeries, to help reduce the street animal population in the long term.
