Well we have survived 1 week/7 days/ 168 hours!!! (it was touch and go for the human 🤣). Bug is an absolute legend and has taken to motherhood like a duck to water. Insists on having them with her 24/7 and requires little to no assistance thankyou very much. Growing like weeds (all over the 600g mark) and no longer fit in this box.

So this happened! Wasn’t due until tomorrow but couldn’t hold out any longer and delivered Sunday evening. Mainly in part I am sure because Stephen was still away at Golf!!! Seven beautiful babies. Bug and crew doing well (touch wood, don’t want to jinx it). Huge thank you to Dr Tom and Dimity Roma Veterinary Clinic for everything.

Exciting things happened today (and it wasn’t just the lovely Sunday drive in the country which encompassed 1400 +km😂 or the quality time I got to spend with my other half whilst he was trapped in a car with me for most of the day 😛.)…..stay tuned for the offical intro (I need time to recover😆).
P.S. need to convince the other half that Beetlejuice is an appropriate name for this little hellion! Thoughts??

After two weeks of holding Doozy’s paw, puppy snuggles whenever, nanny naps and a clean house I have returned to reality and actual paid work!!🥲. I think the dogs may be relieved to return to normal programming😂.

The cohort of six is now five days old!!! Time flies when you have a touch of food poisoning and two hourly night feeds!!

After a little bit of drama and a lot of anxiety (from humans!) Doozy has safely delivered 6 puppies. 3 boys and 3 girls (she knows how much I like even things!!). 24 hours old and all going well thus far 🤞.

Captain’s Log : Day who am I kidding, I have lost count!!!
Doozy has gone from no puppies @ first scan to maybe 🤔 three puppies @ second scan (7 days after first), to definitely six (possibly eight) puppies @ X-ray taken yesterday!! Original due date revised from April 24th to May 1!
Fingers crossed 🤞 for a safe and anxiety free delivery!

Off to the vet tomorrow for a confirmation scan! 🤞 for some Jolly Crazy Eyes Sue (aka Doozy) and Jorjade Kissable Tribut...
