We were out of town last week for 4 days to see my son graduate from Navy bootcamp (hooyah!). This was the girls’ reaction to seeing me the first time when I got home.
Mimic: you were gone for SOOOO long
Dass: I missed you
Gucci: you were gone? Let go, I got sh!t to do in the yard

Mama Dass was the dog in white today for the brevet level. She had fun! Miss Thang surprised me by actually outing on the first whistle. She did not surprise me though by trying to break her start line 🤣 she may not be as fast, but at 11.5 years old, she is just as fierce (and angry)!
Gucci has always played this game- roll the ball, catch the ball, roll the ball, catch the ball, repeat as naseum. Mimic’s typical made up game is bury toys in a blanket, act surprised when she finds them, bury again- rinse, repeat. So imagine my surprise when I looked out back yesterday to find that Mimic has picked up Gucci’s game 🤣 these dogs crack me up on a daily basis.
