We're in the home stretch of Finn's Westminster prep! A spa day was in order, of course.

Thank you Sherilyn at Fur-Ever Fresh Pet Spa for taking such good care of him! If you know me, you know I'm very picky with who I leave my dogs with, and even pickier on who uses scissors on them!

Finn's road trip starts today, and it's starting to feel surreal that this is happening!

We are thrilled to announce that we are the FIRST and ONLY border collie breeder to become Better Breeder Institute Certified. This certification is the only breeder of merit program that supports efforts to breed a better dog. It recognizes purposeful purebred dog breeders who are ambassadors for breed preservation and advancement.

To become BBI Certified, we had to submit proof of our health testing, prefix titling, facilities, and more. We are excited to be a member of this exclusive group of breeders!

Last update for the week, I promise!

Team Finn has a (loosely kept) secret, we're going to Westminster! 💜💛💜

I never dreamed that I'd have a dog entered at the Super Bowl of dog shows, but Finn has shown me time and time again that he deserves to be there.

I would be remiss to not mention that Finn will be one of, if not the, most titled border collies to attend in history. I guess he's kind of a big deal!

I'll be sure to post the link to the livestream for my non dog show friends who are Finn fans!

Finn had a ridiculously busy week at border collie nationals.

Tuesday he earned his HSBd title with a great run. He hadn't been on stock in a few months leading up to the trial, so I was doubly impressed with him.

Wednesday and Thursday he had a total of 5 runs in agility. No Qs (I made some critical handling errors), but he was as awesome as ever.

Friday he finished his last Triple Q needed for his RACH, and just needs Master points to finish it! He also won his sweepstakes class, made the cut in best headpiece and best gait, and strutted his stuff in the Owner Handled Invitational and Rally Invitational!

Saturday he showed in best of breed, but his high point was his Open A run. I blew the Q because I wasn't loud enough, but he nailed every exercise despite a crazy environment. We also got to run a Crufts style heeling pattern which included positions that he'd never done before, like a moving sit. He did it perfectly, most of our points off were because I forgot my lefts and rights. Ooops.

He ended the weekend by charming people at the Stud Dog Social.

I believe he was the only dog to participate in the Janet Larson Versatility competition, Rally Invitational, and Owner Handled Invitational which is super cool.

My biggest win for the weekend was looking at the photos of us in the ring and realizing how far I've come as a handler in the past two years.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped Finn and myself along the way, David, Pepe, Dawn Marie, Beth, Joan, Joy, Paula, and many others. I never would've dreamed that this would be my once in a lifetime dog, but I'm sure glad he is and that we have a community who loves him as much as I do.

Here's to many more Qs, titles, rosettes, and fun Buddy!

Finn kicked off his debut at the BCSA National with a bang! Qs in Started A and B Ducks, and a new titles!

We are excited to announce our planned litter for Winter 2024/2025!

Finn is a dog that needs no introduction, with a career spanning across over half a dozen sports and numerous accolades. He has been awarded three of the four versatility awards given by the Border Collie Society of America, is a multi owner handled group placer, and has several High Combines and High Triples.

He is a happy, pleasant dog with no vices. He gets along well with others and is a perfect babysitter and playmate for puppies.

Carly is a promising young girl who has proven herself to be quite versatile, even at her young age. She earned the Versatility award from the Border Collie Society of America at under two years of age. She has titles in several different sports as well as lots of “for fun” titles. She is currently preparing for her CD, which we hope to earn next summer. She also has a few singles towards her AKC Championship, which we will pursue again next year as time allows.

She is incredibly outgoing, both to people and dogs. She has no issue with being taken to new places and loves to go pretty much anywhere. Carly wakes up on the right side of the bed every day and is always in a great mood.

We are taking inquiries on this litter, primarily for those wanting males. Puppies are placed based on the home with the best fit, not by position on the waitlist. Lucie's first taste of #Fastcat

Carly is starting her training for Open. Sometimes dogs don't enjoy holding the dumbbell initially, not this one!

Finn keeps up the momentum in 2024 with some incredible agility runs this weekend. Two novice standard legs and a novice jumpers leg. A win in every class as well!

Carly got to try out Fast Cat for the first time today at a local fun run. Looks like she found a new sport to enjoy!

Another weekend of agility with Pawprints Agility Club! Finn got his first USDAA Gamblers Q, and won his class. No other Qs this weekend, but not bad for our green team.
