Beskydy Bundas dog
Translation from Czech to English, of the now extinct Beskydy Bundas.
“it is a breed similar to the Slovak cuvaci, but of smaller stature, with rich fur (with a very dense undercoat) or 'bunda' (hence its name bundas). From the available reports and surveys, it was found that this breed existed as early as the 1970s on some farms in the Beskydy Mountains, the Czech-Moravian Highlands, North Moravia, and even in the northern guilds, as well as in mountain villages as guard dogs near sheds. Prof. A pear that states its height at the withers is 45-55cm.
if we follow in his footsteps, we find out that in the fifties he had standing ears, which he most likely heard. ten years later, some of his admirers tried to show him at exhibitions as an example of a separate breed. these individuals, however, had semi-set ears, which led to the rejection of the Bundas as a separate breed with the justification that it is a degenerate of the Slovak Cuvac. however, it would be appropriate to consider that if it is not, for example, a degenerate c**t, whippet greyhound,
dwarf and medium poodles of the royal poodle, smooth-haired Pinz Doberman. not even Bundas is a degenerate of the Slovak culture.
This breed is certainly not extinct yet. rescue from the rest, even with a grazed or laid ear, is perhaps still possible, even if there is little hope. they could occasionally occur as non-standard in the type of head, fur and height even among the cuvacs, where they apparently could have pe*****ted in the past. then, however, there is not a single pair or descendant of this undeniably good and interesting herding breed, which would be suitable for work in flat and mountainous terrain due to its low maintenance requirements, and there were also such sacrifices and efforts part or all of the vacation to look for activities after it
alas, but then to no avail. and so I hope that the system will be looked at among watchers, and especially this article, which could arouse the interest of the reader, or the owner”
