UPDATE ON THE 7 LATEST RESCUES 🐶

These poor pups have been through absolute hell. We cannot imagine the pain & discomfort they have been living in. The vets have done their initial assessment & pretty much everyone has a bad skin condition & some of them have more serious conditions requiring surgery. Everyone has been vaccinated and pain medication started. We’ll get started on further treatments as soon as it’s safe to do so for their little bodies. They’re all really malnourished right now. It’s going to be a long road & they are going to have a long way to go to get them healthy. But we got you babies, the TB3 community is here for you 🤍

‼️ NEW RESCUE MISSION ‼️

We were alerted to 7 dogs living in absolutely horrific conditions. They’d previously been used for breeding and now the breeder was planning to sell them for meat. We still have 5 of the side of the road pups from our last big rescue mission in china with no adoption applications, so we really aren’t in a position to take these babies on. But how can we say no? Knowing what we will happen if we don’t take them.

We asked our safe haven manager to go back for them. We estimate it’ll cost around $2,500 per dog to get them vaccinated, neutered & in good health so they can fly to their forever homes. We can’t do this without you guys. Please help us save them.

ADOPT CANDY & FLOSS 🐶🐶

Candy and Floss are a mum and son toy poodle duo who are in foster in the UK & looking for their forever home together. Candy is blind & Floss is his guide dog 🥹 - they are incredibly bonded and do everything together. They especially like to snuggle up to sleep together.

Candy’s blindness doesn’t hold him back, he’s a typical playful puppy and with the support of his mum he is able to live a full & fun life.

We think they would do best as the only dogs in the home so they can have all your love and attention.

This pair are so sweet, playful & loving and after an incredibly hard start to their life in china, deserve to having a loving forever family of their own.

Lil pupdate for everyone - the pups are getting SO big! They all just had their spay/neuter & are doing so well. Whilst our vets have taken amazing care of them since we rescued them, a vet clinic is no place for them to spend their lives. The pups are all ready & desperate for their forever homes 🤍

WOW! What an incredibly special day. We had a stall at Roxyfest to raise funds for our dogs & lots of our TB3 UK adopters came for a meet-up 🐶🤍
So much of what we see and do is incredibly tough & devastating, so moments like this where we get to see our dogs happy and thriving with their amazing families are so incredible. We love and appreciate every single one of you who have adopted one of our dogs and give them the love they truly deserve!

DREAM HUSKY: Silver is still waiting for his perfect home. This poor guy has been in foster care for over 3 months after arriving from the streets of Korea. He’s currently in the Northeast and really lovely 3 year old boy that desperately deserves a home and family of his own. He’s dog friendly (fosters have 6 dogs of their own). Loves every person he’s ever met. Silver has great basic obedience and he’s currently in a training class to keep his skills sharp and get him out of the house to have some fun. He’s food motivated and loves to learn and please. He’s 3 years old, neutered, house trained and crate trained.

To address husky concerns:
- he’s not overly talkative. He talks at feeding time and when he gets excited during training exercises. That’s about it.
- he has never escaped (or tried to escape) from my fenced in backyard ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️

URGENT RESCUE MISSION - THESE DOGS NEED OUR HELP 🚨

Yesterday our team member in china alerted us to these puppies on the side of the road in the most despicable conditions. Some of them were barely responsive & they clearly needed urgent medical attention.

The second video where our team member asks us “which one do you want to choose” broke us. How could we choose who lives and dies? We are a tiny donation run rescue & had said we could only afford to help 2. They’re going to need a lot of medical care which is super expensive & won’t be able to fly until they’re older.

We took the 2 who looked in the worst state, and one of those sweet angels died on the way to the vet. We couldn’t stop thinking about the others so asked our team member to go back for the other 7.

We really need your help. These puppies need your help. A conservative estimate to get them through the first couple of months of their life is $2,500. Taking on 9 extremely ill puppies was not something we envisaged, but how could we say no 💔?!

Pick Perfect Pete!!!

This sweet boy has had a tough life in only 1.5 years on earth. He was found roaming the streets as a pup, allegedly adopted out and then found dumped in the Korean mountainside. Our Korean partners thankfully took him in and gave him the love and care he desperately needed.

Pete is currently being fostered in Massachusetts with 2 dogs, a cat and a child. He is about 1.5 years old and roughly 30-35 pounds (he is full grown) and a retriever mix.

ABOUT PETE:
🐶He gets along great with kids of all ages, other dogs, cats, horses, cows and chickens. His foster says he is NOT aggressive at all towards anything so far.
🐶He eats right alongside the other 2 dogs with no food aggression.
🐶He is house trained and can hold it for a while.
🐶He sleeps on the bed at night and cuddles up with the other dogs.
🐶He loves the couch life but also loves going for car rides where he just sits there and watches the world go by.
🐶He loves walks and just being by your side, he’s not a stage 5 clinger but pretty close as he does like to be near his human.

He is the BEST boy and deserves a great forever home. If you are able to travel to pick up Pete, he can be adopted to anyone in the US. Please apply on the website if interested in this sweet angel baby.

ADOPT SILVER: Meet Silver! Silver was found malnourished and starving on the streets of Korea before being rescued. He’s a 45 lb 3 yo neutered male Husky that’s currently being fostered in New Hampshire.

He’s a happy go lucky guy and loves people! Men, women, strangers on the street - he loves them all. He’s very brave in new situations. Day four in the US and he walked down Main Street with loud traffic, other dogs, baby strollers, shopping carts without ever flinching. Silver loves laying in the backseat of the car watching the world go by - he’s the best copilot. He also loves to practice his tricks. “Sit” and “paw” are his favorite.

He’s currently living in a home with six other dogs. He’s working on coming out of his shell and learning how to play! He loves spending time with his new buddies outside.

He’s a very good boy that can’t wait to find his human. To adopt Silver, please fill out an adoption form on the website!

Meet Milas! Milas is currently being fostered in New Hampshire with 6 other large dogs. He is a tiny poodle, but baby boy is mighty!!! He fits right in with his foster pack. Milas may have been saved from the Asian dog meat trade, but he’s leaving his past in the past and embracing all the future has to offer with open paws.

He is a 2-3 year old poodle. He is dog FRIENDLY. The foster puts it in all capitals because he gets along with everyone from playful JRTs to her geriatric tripawd pitbull to a Great Pyrenees mix. He is 1 of 7 in his foster home and the smallest by far. He has yet to meet a dog he isn’t excited to win over with his goofy personality

He is extremely loving. He wants to be everyone’s best friend. He is a companion in every sense of the word. He loves walks, playing, cuddles…everything. He even liked going to the vets office. He sleeps through the night from 10pm-6am and has shown to be housebroken after bouncing back from jet lag. Milas is also a fantastic travel companion. He loves to ride shot gun in his booster box.

Benji boy has come SO far with us since we rescued him from a Chinese slaughterhouse in October! What was once a very scared, and petrified little boy, has now started to come out of his shell and flourish more than we ever thought.

But there is still so much work to be done… Benji is learning how to be around other dogs in a safe environment, but we truly believe he needs to be with a trainer every day to learn how to be a loved member of a family. The trainer in China tells us she needs a minimum of 2 months to really work with Benji. That training is going to cost roughly $1,100/month as he will be at her facility every day.

We would absolutely love to fundraise for Benji, because we truly feel like it will give him the best opportunity to be adopted. We do our best to give our dogs the best care with the resources we have… We never hesitate to pay for surgery when our dogs need it. Training will be no different in our eyes if it will help him.

The Big 3 Giving Tree:
This year, we truly have been so lucky to grow our little rescue. We have saved more than 170 dogs in 18 months and it’s ALL because of your support and help. Starting this month, we wanted to post our TB3 Giving Tree. These are some of the dogs that haven’t been sponsored in China and could use some extra help this holiday season. Lily has been sponsored but will need ACL surgery which will cost a couple thousand dollars, so we wanted to add her on as well!

If it’s in your heart to donate any money, we would be very thankful! Your dollars add up, and in turn allows us to save more dogs from the Chinese Dog Meat Trade.

Corgis and Cats 🐱👑 🐶
Lots of our dogs get adopted into homes with cats, so we asked our safe haven manager to introduce the pups to her friendly resident cat & they all did amazingly! Holly, Lily, Blossom, Elsa & Sasha were were absolute angels and so was the gorgeous kitty, putting up with lots of butt sniffs.

The rest of our new rescues are still at the vet and we’ll be updating you on their progress very soon! 🤎

Introducing: Celeste, Sasha, Benji & Teddy 🤎🤎🤎🤎
The next group of pups from our latest rescue mission that we would like to introduce you to. Following the ban of many large breeds that we posted about a couple of weeks ago, we knew we had to save some big dogs.

Celeste is one of the many beautiful goldens we came across at the horrific place. She’s currently fighting off a cold and will be at our vets until she recovers. Sasha is a beautiful retriever mix who miraculously seems healthy so far and is estimated to be under 1 year old! Benji, our beautiful boy, was spotted by our safe haven manager on her first rescue visit and he was still there begging to be rescued when she went back a few days later after we’d raised enough to save more. We knew we couldn’t leave him again, so although we couldn’t afford it, home with us he came. He’s terrified of humans at the moment and the vets haven’t been able to get near him, so we’re giving him time to decompress and learn that humans can be kind. Teddy was another little bonus rescue our safe haven manager couldn’t bare to leave. She ended up texting us on the way back that she’d taken another 😅.

Sol ☀️ Sol is the sweetest little 3 year old spitz mix. He was rescued from a high kill shelter in Korea before being euthanized and is currently in Korean foster care. Sol completed his heartworm treatment last week and is now healthy and super happy. He is around 14 pounds and is so incredibly loving! 3 years of TB3!!!Yesterday (yes, we forgot 😅) marked THREE whole years of our little rescue. What started out as a wild idea of 3 ladies creating a dog rescue with integrity who live on opposite sides of the country + another country, has turned into 185 dogs adopted. 185 lives forever changed. 3 years later, and we are still very much a grassroots rescue. All of our funding comes from individual people who give whatever they can to our dogs. We are in AWE that we have been able to sustain like this for so long. While we are working so dang hard to get corporate funding so we can make more of a dent, ALL of what we have accomplished is because of YOU. Susie the Corgi:🐶Chinese meat trade survivor 🐶Tricolor corgi 🐶 4 years old (roughly)🐶 Amazing with all people, dogs & cats she’s met 🐶41lbs (yes, she’s now on a diet) If you have been following along with our rescue for a while, then you know, we have a special place in our hearts for Corgis, as we have a huge Corgi community! @& @ reached out to us again, wanting to sponsor a lot of a corgis care. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾So in their honor, we had our staff visit “Maddie’s lady” to take on her longest corgi resident that she rescued from the meat trade. If you’re new here, then you’re probably wondering who she is. She is a really good friend of our safe Haven manager, an older lady, that literally goes and saves dogs from Chinese slaughterhouses weekly. She has more than 200 dogs at her house… We know it’s a lot, & from time to time, we will take on dogs from her. She has no heating at her house and a lot of the times the little dogs she takes on will literally freeze to death… That’s why you’ll see a lot of small dogs that we take on from her when she asks us.
