A balanced dog training refers to when a dog learns through positive reinforcement techniques and aversion punishment techniques..
It’s a controversial topic and many people believes that correcting a dog is inhumane and it is not necessary…
Positive dog training and balanced dog training is like two sides of the same coin.. It has its own setbacks and merits..

When the puppies are born the puppies go through many psychological changes before they become an adult. The puppies will be growing up with the mother dog till 8weeks old. It’s very crucial time for the puppies psychological development.. The things they learn during this time is very important for rest of their lives.. During this phase the mother dog corrects the puppies for their unwanted behaviours.. When the puppies comes to a new home it’s a new environment for them and obviously the mother dog will not be there to guide the puppies… The puppies depends on the humans for their daily living.. During this time it is the human’s responsibility to teach the puppies what is appropriate behaviour and what is not.. That’s when the balanced dog training comes to play..

Teaching the puppies by positive reinforcement techniques for the good behaviours and using aversion correction techniques for the inappropriate behaviours creates a structure and balance in dogs life.. It creates a valuable and strong relationship with the humans.. 🐶😀

The success of any type of dog training from obedience, rally obedience, behaviour modification, protection work or whatever disciple you are training the dog for depends on the engagement of the dog with the handler rather than relying on treats or rewards all the time.. However I also believe that there are more than one way to train a dog to achieve the same goal and there are many successful trainers out there..
Being said that it’s important to build a strong foundation in training and bonding with the dog before advancing to further trainings and that’s when the engagement training comes in play.. Teaching the dog to rely on the handler during the initial stages makes the training process more enjoyable and effective in long run..

Chiko is one the dogs that I have been training for a while.: He was very excited and never let other dogs near him or the owner was not able to take him for walks because he used to launch and bark at them.. This video is a short glimpse of how far we have come 😀

Meet Tilly, She is a rescued rottie that Iam currently training... She has a history of animal abuse and had some injuries when I first met her.. Despite all the abuse and torture she has been through in her life, she is such a sweet girl😊 she loves dogs and going on adventures and I make sure she gets her best and she deserves it!! 😊😊
