***OTIS NEEDS A HOME - Please Share***

Otis is a 4 year old entire large male,black long coat with tan feet.

NO KIDS
NO DOGS

You must have a secure (min 5ft) garden and have experience with GSDs or large breeds. And be prepared to work with Otis

He barked loudly when our volunteer approached his home and was kept behind baby gate in kitchen as he is over enthusiastic at meeting people. Once he was released he came into living room like a tornado but soon settled when offered some treats.

Otis knows his basic commands but this could be worked on more as he is very excitable and needs to learn some manners.
He accepts adults into home after initial excitement but is not good with young children so he will not be rehomed where there are resident or visiting children.

When other dogs bark at him he will lunge and bark back which needs working on.

He did live with a female shepherd a few years ago but due to his current reaction he will not be rehomed with another dog.

Otis can be over protective of his food and toys, he will need help with this.

Due to personal circumstances Otis is no longer being walked which his owner agrees is very unfair and has decided best to re-home him.

It’s with a heavy heart I write this post this little baby was stolen from his own home 😔 3 men with machetes ran into the home and stole the pup at knife point terrorising the family 😔 please please if you see this boy piercing blue eyes and white chest inform the police straight away !!! Let’s get this boy back home to his family were he belongs the family are devastated poor furbabys dad was held at knifepoint 😔

**FOSTER FAMILIES WANTED**

Rescue is getting busier with surrenders and we are tight on space and are in desperate need of fosterers to help train socialise and care for our dogs before going to their forever homes..

We provide everything you need and cover all vet and food bills all we need from you is a loving home stays very from 2days to 4 weeks..

Foster families must be home most of the day and be able to drive to and from Glasgow for adoptions and vet visits...

We have recently worked with our friend John from Scotland For Animals and we are looking to do so again and we are asking for your help to enable us to bring Odin into our rescue.He needs a foster urgently and we cannot place him in kennels as he has had a difficult past and this would not be the right move for him.He needs an experienced large breed foster and he his dog friendly and good with people as the home he is placed with just now has worked very hard with him.If anyone can offer to help we will discuss more about Odin.His future is bleak if he doesn’t find rescue space and if any other rescues can help he can be placed out with us as long as you have everything in place.Please let’s try and get big Odin safe 🐾

We have them coming along to our shop Animal Station Mossedge ind est Linwood PA33HR this Saturday the 12th August between 11am and 4pm with a selection of the birds they have rescued to tell us all about the work they are doing please come along and support us and the charity and people who do so much for the birds.

Good morning All

Today is the day we will open at 9am and would love you all to pop round and have a look.
We have tried to stock as much as we can with a good range of Skinners and Burns food along with a extensive range of Raw food in 500g trays and 1kg vac pack.
