Today is National Reptile Awareness Day!

A day to promote education, preservation, and appreciation for these amazing animals!

Here are some of the beauties that we have been raising since babies, several Ball Pythons (Python regius) and our Burmese Python (Python bivittatus)

Ball pythons are native to West and Central Africa while Burmese pythons are native to Southeast Asia

Unfortunately, the Burmese Python is also an invasive species in the Florida Everglades because of two reasons. Some pet owners that were unable to care for their animals released them into the wild in Florida. This alone did not lead to the current state of Florida’s Burmese Python problems. In 1992 hurricane Andrew passed through damaging many exotic wildlife facilities, one of which was a Burmese python breeding facility that released many many snakes into the Everglades where the conditions are perfect for them to thrive along with having no real natural predators.

Please do your homework before purchasing any exotic animal of any kind and make sure you are prepared to take care of them! Always have emergency plans in place for the safety of your animals and your community! Never release non native animals into the wild!

Been a while since we shared any updates but everyone is happy and healthy!

1-Mr.Banana here is the first of our babies to go over 1000g and is a little over a year old now

2-Spotnose Blade Clown is our most aggressive feeder. She has gone from 120g to about 660g in 5 months

3-Pastel YellowBelly Pied is back on track, he is by far our pickiest eater. Started out switching him to rats as a baby after a couple months he stopped eating and would only eat mice now...

Sorry about the crap lighting

We are keeping a smaller collection than some hobbyist breeders and we are hand raising all of our reptiles from less than 6 months old. This allows us to closely monitor and care for all of our stunning animals in the best way possible to ensure the highest quality. Just take a look at the nice growth rates on some of our snakes, and can you tell which one is the Burmese and which ones are ball pythons 😂

Check out who is joining our collection next week. This guy will be named Ramesses!Pinstripe clown is one of our favorit...
