TODAY IS ELLE'S 7th BIRTHDAY!!! She had a party, invited all her friends, well, all her friends that live with her, ate all her "cake" and got some pretty great presents that she quickly forgot about and ignored. All in all a pretty good day. We also hung out on the deck and watched the birds, so that was fun too. 😸❤️❤️🧁🎉🎉🎈🎈🎂🍰

Thanks everyone for the concern over Elle! ❤️ I tried responding to everyone but my phone is old and tired, much like myself, and I became frustrated with the exceptionally long times it was taking to do anything. Rest assured we have been reading your comments and we appreciate them all! In the mean time Elle's meds have been working and the swelling and redness in her lip has improved dramatically! Once again, thank you everyone and forgive me if I haven't responded to you, it's not for lack of trying. 😸

Well, we had to take Elle to the vet yesterday. She developed a bit of a swollen lip and was VERY sassy to the vet, the techs, even meowmy got a bit of the business from Elle. Cat dad was unfortunately at work when Elle went so I'm sure she would've been a little calmer if he was there with her. She's definitely a daddy's girl 😹. It's most likely an absess so Elle gets an anti inflammatory and antibiotics and hopefully we should see some results in a few days. I tried taking pictures of her fat lip but dang it if she isn't the most photogenic cat ever and they just turned into great headshots😻📸

It's Christmas Eve and all the kitties are excited! Actually, Elle saw her Christmas dress and ran away, you can pretty much tell from the look on her face how she feels about it😹 I tried a Santa hat with Apollo and you can see how well that turned out, looks like we've got a couple of Grinches on our hands 😹 Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🎁🎅🤶☃️😽❤️❤️❤️😺

Well I guess it's been about a month and a half since our last post!🙀 Anyway, you guys didn't miss much. It snowed. A lot! Hey everyone! Just checking in, it's been a hot minute since the last time we posted anything so we figured we'd take a couple minutes to say hi! Elle and Apollo got a new "cat bed" from a local thrift store and we couldn't help ourselves from making them sit together on it. They hated it😹 but they do enjoy the bed if they don't have to share it! Stay classy everyone! 😸😽❤️❤️

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLE🎉🎉🎉🎉😸!!! Our little miracle turns 6 today! Cat dad did the math and that's 2191 days! 🙀 We've been fortunate to have spent 2161 of those days together. Normally we have a little birthday party for Elle and this year will be no exception but meowmy is working late so the party won't happen until after she gets home. That didn't stop cat dad from putting a stupid cowboy hat on Elle and taking her outside to explore though. 😸

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates and sorry if we've been ignoring anyone. Meowmy has been away at work and cat dad has been VERY busy working around the house. One of the things he's had to do is replace a bunch of rotten deck boards and Elle and Apollo couldn't be happier! 😸 They've been waiting weeks to go outside and the deck is finally safe and kitty proof for them. Big hello to meowmy's new friend Jas👋 Thanks for keeping meowmy safe while she's away from home! I can't guarantee that I'll respond much here but I'll do what I can. Happy Caturday from a very intense looking Elle! Thank you all for your kind words while we had to say goodbye to our sweet puppy Sugar. It really meant a lot to us. Once again I'm refusing to use hashtags as everytime I do I get spammed with bots trying to sell me things.

Hi everyone! Sorry we haven't been answering you all but I think you probably understand that it's been pretty hard on us losing Sugar so suddenly. We've been reading all your loving comments and I'm trying to get back to everyone but it's still pretty difficult. It is throwback Thursday so today I'm posting one of my favorite pictures of Sugar and cat dad together, this was just from last year and boy were we both furry! She was always so good to all the animals we brought in. She loved Elle and Apollo from the moment they came to us and would get excited whenever Mushu would run around in her tank. I'm also refraining from using hashtags for the next little bit as everytime I try to post something Instagram bots start soliciting and I think that just tacky and predatory.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet puppy Sugar yesterday. Her situation deteriorated very quickly. I would like to thank you all for your love and support.
She was a good puppy.

Hi everyone! It's been quite a while since our last post. We've had a couple of friends reach out and ask if everything's all right so I think it's time for a post. Our senior puppy Sugar, who most of you are familiar with, had an accident last week and we've been at the vet a lot lately with her. She suddenly became lame in her hind legs and can't walk at the moment. We have a very good vet though and we're hoping for the best🤞 As you can see, Sugar's in good paws with Elle watching over her😸 I'll try to do better keeping you all in the loop, especially now with Sugar's health.
