We went to Legacy Wealth Management today to practice for our big Bingo for BARCC Fundraiser event this Saturday! $25 before Friday at midnight or $30 at the door! 20 games and tons of prizes! Help us build a new animal shelter! Doors open at 2pm and the first game will start at 3pm. We will also be selling dabbers for your bingo cards!

BARCC Ambassador, Christel, is raffling off this tv when you visit some of our outreach events! She will be setup at the American Legion Post 16 off of Greenview Dr from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, August 24, for their Craft Vendor Car Show!

Saturday is going to be extra fun since on the other side of town we will be hosting our Bingo for BARCC Fundraiser event with the other prizes!

Armchair warriors: you were not there. We were not there. But if an Adopter is clearly not comfortable with a behavior, we want the dog to come back to us. Enough said and rude comments are going to be deleted. If you don’t like it, come volunteer.

We were terribly disappointed, as were Stona’s adopters, to discover that when the neighbor Cats came visiting to the fenced in yard, where she went to live, she was determined to chase them off. To keep everyone in the neighborhood happy and safe, Stona came back to stay with us. We are thrilled she got that one night out of the shelter, and got to be in love with a family for 24 hours. We don’t give up, and Stona does not give up easily either. 2 to 3 years old, she’s looking for a home with no cats. The fenced in yard was lovely, and she would love to have that as well. Thank you so much to her adoptive family for giving her a chance! we don’t want to take any chances, however, on her, disrupting the balance of the neighborhood by injuring or killing a cat. Eek. The shelter is full. Please adopt or foster.

We need a shelter that creates a better environment that more people will want to go to. Our current shelter is small, outdated, overwhelming, overlooked, and … overflowing at the moment.

Please reach out to our friends. Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, for more info about an animal at the shelter. We need to get these faces homes and more space for everyone.

We need a new animal shelter.

The current one is loud for humans and for creatures. It’s uncomfortable to go down the small hallway with the large ditches on each side. It needs more space and a better floor plan.
