Weird flex - but these puppies are already housebreaking at six weeks. This is four of the eight captured on Friday.
I just gave them chicken paws for the glucosamine, good for their ears. One was crying till I picked him up but then kept whining. It finally dawned on me he may need to potty. I took him out, he did his business and then I brought him back in. He joined the others chewing up the chicken paws, content and happy. Shepherds are so smart!

Mom teaching puppies to play ball. This was so cute and I didn’t have my phone so I ran in to grab it and caught a few seconds of it. I’ve noticed she stashes balls in the whelping box and I’ve wondered if it was a good place to keep them or if she’s bringing them to the puppies.

The puppies are devouring the cottage cheese. They were given a small amount today because I am today years old finding out that kibble has a negligible amount of calcium. Mackerel, salmon, cottage cheese, and ricotta have 8-15% calcium so I’m adding small amounts to their diet and I’ve ordered bone meal. *I looked at several brands of puppy kibble online and only found 0-1% calcium.
