Another satisfied customer and another happy four legged friend.

Rufus was brought to me as a pup that was rescued (he was found). Everything was great until it wasn’t, he started to become possessive over things. Like the couch, certain spots in the car, and his new family. They do have kids in the house so this had to be fixed quick. So we worked on just putting him in his place and getting him to understand his owner is the leader of the pack. A lot of testing him to make a good decision and holding him accountable for the bad decisions. We did two sessions and they got sent home with a lot of homework to practice with. I checked up on them here and there, now look at them 2 months living their best life.

I’ll be making some short videos on how to correct behaviors, teach new commands, what’s good or bad behavior, socialization, etc. Tap in and ask any questions you want answered in one of my videos.

Another big shoutout to my cousin Dayquan for trusting in us to train his two beast. 🦍 His cases were different because he just needed to learn how to correct them the right way and just assert hisself as pack leader more, and understand why they do certain things. He puts a lot of time into his dogs and their training we love to see that. With only 4 individual training classes we have them up to par now. This is one of the big things he wanted worked on which was them bulldozing the door when he opens it or people try to come in. I showed him this method to work on with them and this is the results.

Dog training isn’t just about training the dog we have to train the owner as well so that they have a better bond. 💯

I would like to give a huge shoutout to Jamie Vadala and Kyle Burbage for choosing Elijah’s K9 Training for their pup Marley. Soon as I met them I just knew that they were going to be great to work with. They’ve had plenty dogs before so they had most of it down pack I was just that helping hand to walk them through it. They made sure to do the homework I left with them and do training in between us meeting up. That’s what I like to see as a trainer owners who want the absolute best for them and their dog, always wanting to learn more and do things hands on. Marley has to be one of the smartest bulldogs I’ve ever met and picks ups on things so fast, she is a big people pleaser and loves her treats. 🤣 We did two months of individual classes and this is the end work. They still have homework for her to keep her on the right track but I’ve got to say she won’t need much more. Once again thanks for choosing us to train you guys and your 4 legged kid. Come back any time so she can have a play date with the pups.

Just the beginning of working with my girl storm and her obedience training. First off we are working on leash training with a slip lead because she is a big puller. I ended up switch to prong collar after this video just because of how powerful she is. My clients have a young daughter so they want to feel safe when walking her and pushing the baby in stroller or even just holding her. Not to mention the also have a boy dog that’s also about the same size as her. So we are just taking the time to really get her paying attention to her handlers directions and moving with them instead of against.

Today, we did more distraction training with my friend Marley. She did great! I used my girl Kiwi as a distraction as well as a few toys and treats. She did a great job! She got tempted but with just a small correction, she stayed. She does great with her obedience training inside with no distractions so now we are trying to throw all distractions at her to really lock her in.

Everyone loves to ask how Gucci listens so well and is so good around my daughter. His parents were both trained by me since they were 8wks. So some of it came from instincts but a lot comes from him being trained almost every day since he was 8wks just like his parents. It’s more then going outside and tryna make them do commands for 30 mins a day. It’s about making it fun for them at the same time, teaching boundaries when inside your home, letting them know your pack leader, always keeping balance, building a strong bond, and showing a butt load of love. These are just some of the many things that got him to the point he is now going on 5 years old in a couple days.

Got to meet up with Marley and her family last week Friday for obedience training, I was blown away with the intelligence and people pleasing skills of this young bulldog, she still a little stubborn with certain things but over all the owners gotten her off to a good start. Always happy to have owners that take training at an early age serious, and also do research on the best breed for them. Will be doing a couple weeks worth of sessions with her, so keep and eye out for how she comes along.

Elijah’s K9 Training

We will be having a group obedience class for dogs from three months to a year old. We are looking for 4-6 people to join us. These classes last hour and half long sometimes two hours. This is so that everyone gets the time they need also so all questions can be asked and answered. I will have someone recording this class and taking pics just to give a fair warning to anyone who is camera shy.

These classes will contain these things but broken down into multiple classes.

We cut our individual training price in half for the group training so you will be paying the low price of $40. We have moved my boy Shamar up to civil work now so he has a better understanding of what his job is. This family doesn’t stop training when he isn’t with me they keep it going and that’s what I love to see.

Time to slow it down and work on his aim and bite... he has been trying to go to the edge of the sleeve, so we’re trying to get him aiming in the middle. Also he is using his K9s to bite we encourage dogs to use their back teeth when biting. This way it is less likely for them to get their K9s pulled out or hurting them.

Other than that he is doing great in all his other training and excelling in everything we throw at him. We will show more of his socialization and obedience training also.

Shamar is advancing everyday 🤐 it’s almost time to introduce him to the bite sleeve. Taking our time like always to make sure we deliver the best bullet proof protection dogs. Stay tuned to see the finish product of this boy.
