***UPDATE*** REHOMED

Please spread the word so we can reunite this found cat with its family! FOUND on December 5, 2024 in South Yorkshire, England DN1 near Jarratt Street DN1

Description: A grey and brown junior cat has been seen in our gardens for the past few weeks. It has been seen eating from a dumpster, carrying a robin in its mouth and carrying a rat at some point.
As of Thursday 5th of December it is coming to my place at our kitchen door every single day (couple of times a day) and it is mewing until we open the door. The cat is hiding somewhere nearby as it pops up within seconds when we come .
It is a playful and friendly cat.
I have asked around in the neighbourhood, nobody seems to know who this cat belongs to. Some confirmed it also tried to break into their kitchen.
One of the neighbours took the cat to a vet to scan it but it has no chip.
It let me touch it and I could see it has fleas.
I am not keeping the cat inside and it is free to go however it keeps coming over and over again.
The paper collar with my number didn’t work as the cat ripped it off straight away.
We are all curious to know if this cat has an owner and is just greedy, is it a stray, or is it an abandoned cat.

Message from Owner: Please can anyone let me know if you see my cat Max around the Belle Vue area.

He may have potentially got outside from my friends hse on St Margaret’s Road while he is cat sitting and I am out of town and at the moment it’s not possible for me to get back to look for him as I am far away.

He’s very timid so please approach slowly if you see him.

He is wearing a collar with a wooden plaque which has his name, the address of my friends hse to which to return him and also my phone number which ends in 819. Please WhatsApp me if you find him.

Cash reward if he is found safe. Please if anyone can take time out their day to look I will be forever grateful.

He is microchipped and details are all up to date and registered to my address.
