Welcome back Hollywood!! This ol man (8 yrs old) is chilled like a cucumber. He loves his chair & his bed.. relaxing during this hot summer heatwave while his family are away. He such a good boy. We played search for treats in the lawn to get his brain & his nose engaged.. just because he's older doesn't mean his brain needs to be. Keeping him sharp with commands & nose work is a great activity. Can be done around the house as well.
You go with your bad A$! Self Hollywood!!
Please remember that in this heat were having in Maryland/ Dc/Va area that it only takes minutes for your 4 legged friend to get heat stroke!
If you feel the need to walk your furry friend then please walk early morning & late evening. Its not worth losing your furbabies just for a walk.

These boys love to play & its not just with one toy. They want to show you which are their favorites & the older toys, newer toys.. all of the toys & once done it's nap time.. lol.. they love people & playing. Both loved their daily walk & cuddles at nighttime.
Welcome Ms. Tamy. Tamy is a career gal.. her job is to sniff out explosives and she's good at it. Every once in a while she needs a day off. We got the call & stepped up to the plate to play ball & hang out with this 7 yr old. Next time, we can jump into the pool..
It's Toby & Chip!! Their humans went on a quick trip & needed our help. We were more than happy to help out.. good boys!
Let's Welcome Cloud clan maltese. We were in trusted to watch 8 of the breeders dogs. No job is to small for us. We were in maltese heaven with these fur babies. Phoenix(owners maltese) parents are from this wonderful breeder. We fell in love with each & everyone. We loved Cadie( 15 yr) who was right beside us at all time along with Cherish(13 yrs).. each one had a different personality that made them special.
Feeling the heat?? Summer is almost in full swing. Please keep in mind if you think its hot outside image putting on our winter jack & spending the day outside.. this is what you full coated pets feel.
Remember to have shade & plenty of fresh water access for your pets & dont leave them out all day. Also, its flea & tick/ mosquito season.. dont forget to treat your pets. We use Wondercide for those pesty bugs..
We will be on vacation from May 22nd through May 28th. We wont be available during this time frame for services. Stay safe!
On April 4th we learned that another friend had recently passed due to cancer. Ms Bindi Sue. Ms bindi loved to talk to us & bring us a gift or a ball to throw. She kept her younger big brother in line. She loved to be outside with nature & her family. She was so loving & affectionate. Bin Bin will be missed dearly. We were lucky to have known her for 4 yrs & care for her & her brother. We will miss her talking to us,tail wagging. We are glad that we were able to visit her 1 month prior to her passing & shower her with new balls & toys to play with.
Hey everone! Its that time of year again. You look out you're window & your vehicle is yellow. Thats pollen my friends & like most of you, allergic as well. But did you know your pets can have allergies too? A good tip is to wipe down your pets when they come into the home. We all know dogs loved to roll in pretty much everything. This will help with the pollen. Did you know pets can be allergic to the same things we are, like dust mites, pollen, grasses, detergent, candles, plug ins, food allergies. Somethings we have control of:, not to use candles or plugins, get a air purifier & clean regularly. Bathe your dogs monthly with a mild shampoo & sometimes conditioner (depending on the skin/ coat type). Consider what type of food your feeding. Everything starts with good gut health.
Sometimes you might need some extra help & need veterinary intervention. They will go through a check list of what to get rid of or stop using then even put your fur baby on reg.benadryl. Sometimes thats not enough. Its always a good idea to seek veterinary help if your pets allergies get out of hand. They can provide your pet some relief. Veterinarians can have your pets tested for allergies with blood samples.
I can not stress this enough, make sure your dog is properly trained & as an owner to have your dog leashed prior to opening your front door to walking your dog. Had an Incident were a 5 lb yorkie charged me & the lrg working dog I was walking. The yorkie was the aggressor & did not listen to its owner where as the dog i was walking listen to ever word i said. This could have ended badly but Luckily the owner of the dog i walked has been working his dog for years & i continued to work her brain with commands. If you ever need a trainer, i have a few to choose from
Welcome back Chase, Evie & Jack! We are a little behind in posting. Who loves the snow? Ms Chase does.! Chase shares her house with 2 siblings, Evie & Jack. We were honored that their humans contacted us to watch & take care of them while they were away.
Last week on Feb 12th, we were informed that we had lost another Friend. We met Ms. Mia a little over 4 years ago with her brother Hollywood. Mia ran the house from day one. Id like to call her the mother hen. If her brother ever got out of line, she would put him in his place.. sounds like a typical woman,huh?? Lol jk. Mia was loving, smart,full of life, she would check in on you to make sure you were ok & ask for butt rubs or her head rubs.She loved her treats, especially our special treats. She enjoyed rolling in the grass & scratching her back. Id like to think if she was human, she would have been a sun lover. She loved to sunbathe. We will miss Ms. Mia terribly. 🌈
A sad day for us here at Phineas and Friends. We were informed yesterday that Ms Ziva at the age of 13 yrs & almost 1 month had past away on the porch( Her favorite spot)watching her humans in the yard. We were honored to have met Ziva & her sister Koda back in December 2019 & being able to watch them throughout these years while their humans went away. Ziva was known as Wiggle Butt to us because her tail was always wagging & it was very powerful. Always happy go lucky!! Always sniffing around for food or hunting for bugs or lizards or frogs & brought them too you. She would always be right beside you. If you were in the pool, she too would be in the pool. Ziva was very loving & happy & we are sadden that she left this world. We will miss her terribly. 🌈

We have been working on an efficient way to produce patties since we first started formulating our meat recipes and thanks to YOU GUYS, we were finally able to acquire the equipment necessary to get these out in a cost/time efficient way. Each patty will weigh roughly 8oz and come in a 6lb box.
ADDITIONALLY, we are making a slight change to our recipe. We exist to support our local network of farmers - they are our "why" and also in a large capacity our "how - after a year or so of preparation and planning, we are thrilled to add Elmer and his herd of sheep to our regenerative suppliers! Raw cultured sheep's milk will be added to our formula moving forward - you should see that change reflected on our labels very soon!
6LB PATTIES are being shipped to distributors at this very moment and will be available through your local retailers rolling out over the next couple weeks. Please have patience for your stores and distributors as they stock up!

Its with Great sadness that another friend crossed over the rainbow bridge in late November this year. We have known Ms. Penny for a very long time. She went to group class with Phineas & they adored each other long with Ms. Luck ( who passed over a yr ago) we were the only ones in class who had small dogs around giant dogs. Penny was always a little nervous & we cant blame her, we dont really know her entire back story before arriving in Maryland from Texas. She was a southern girl. She loved being cuddle by her mom.. a big foodie.. loved our homemade jerky..listen to every command given.. she even helped out her newer sister birdie who was afraid of everything when she became part of the family. Penny was always a good girl.. we will miss little penny dearly.. she joins luck, Phineas, among others who will welcome her over the rainbow bridge with kisses, toys & lots of running around.
Its with a heavy heart that we say good bye to one of our friends. We were honored to be able to get to know & take care of this beautiful senior named Sofie.
Sofie loved her walks & treats. This year was very hard on Sofie & her humans. Her neurological issues were getting worse & she was losing her mobility. Her parents did everything to keep her comfortable & normal. Sofie didnt know that she couldnt walk or run anymore but she sure tried. Sofie was very loving, affectionate & quirky. She would move plants around when you were not looking or try to move furniture around.. lol..
We will miss ol Sofie. See you over the rainbow bridge.

Lets Welcome our newest friend, Ms. Khloe! Khloe is a 1.5 yr old klee kai. Shes very smart, playful, affectionate & wants to learn but will become destructive if bored. These type of dogs needs to be challenged both mentally & physically. They love leaders & wants to be guided through life.
We were able to help Khloe not pull on her leash when walking, to sit prior to stepping off the curb & work on her separation anxiety while her parents were on a vacation.
