Chelsea, here! Owner of Village Dog Designs and mom to and alumni Piper and Teddy (fka Tiger and Dure). Before my husband and I and our furry family left Pennsylvania to move to Utah to be near the mountains, I had the itch to start a business and work for myself. So when we got settled, Village Dog Designs came to life. I wanted to create bandanas for dogs because I thought it would be the perfect way to combine my love for my village dogs and the desire to do something creative—all with the intention of giving back to KK9R. Without the rescue, I never would have met my sweet pups and this venture wouldn’t be possible. Also living so far from the KK9R alumni community, this felt like a great way to give back and stay connected. Many of the designs are inspired by our travels across the country, yet a few come from distinct childhood memories. The logo is a direct representation of Piper and Teddy’s ears, which I drew myself. I could not be happier getting to do this everyday ❤️
