I love foraging in the spring! Today's haul included dandelion flowers, violets, chickweed and dead nettle. The neighbors were quite curious as to my activities!

After making infused oils, i will be experimenting with creating an eczema friendly balm as well as something for cracked/chapped skin.

I located some comfrey, wild chamomile, and a plant called field pepper that I need to research more!

Polly also enjoyed rolling in the grass!

How awesome is it that the temperatures are finally bearable?!? I'll be going out to the farm tomorrow and looking for more yarrow. Yarrow is helpful for reducing uric acid, therefore reducing effects of rheumatoid arthritis, among many other things! I'll also be checking on the elderberry and black berries and harvesting more jewelweed!

Who knows, maybe I'll find something new and exciting!
