There’s dust bunnies residing on bunnies 🤦🏻‍♀️ My vacuum broke and I need to do some major de furring of my home. 14 bunnies shed quite a bit. I have also lost a few Xpens in the storms. If anyone has a good light canister vacuum with dusting brush or corns to donate that would be amazing.
Jolene and Billie will be going to foster this week! It’s super exciting as they have never had any interest. I think some much needed one on one time with new people will help them out of their shell. 🩷🩷🩷

*UPDATE Esther’s neonatal alliance is taking them!!!*

These three little kittens had their home swept away in Marshall, NC. While I’m doing a lot of ground work I don’t have a lot of time to find the resources to help these kittens. Please help me find vaccines, spays and homes 💜💜💜 They like so many people lost everything.

This orange cat is literally sitting where its home used to be. There are at least two more adult. We caught three kittens. The kittens are sweet, adorable and HUNGRY!!! I’ll get better pics soon. I’ll even get videos to show you. Two are torties and one is gray and white. Every house on this road has been destroyed. Some of these houses where there and family owned for over a century.

We still have a few ducks, chickens, an ornery peacock who lost its mate that the adult cats to catch.

I know they are not bunnies but they are animals that lost everything. I need homes. I need a place that will spay them and do vaccines. Please help me help this kittens. I already have 4 rescued cats along with all of the rescued bunnies.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME FIND THESE KITTENS MEDICAL CARE AND ADOPTERS!!! I’ll be busy helping in downtown Marshall but will check messages as I can. Help me, help them.

Remember the duck we rescued? Well this lucky duck rejoined some of his flock today. I also made a new friend. This young lady lost her home and everything. She was neighbors with the people who had the ducks and she’s still out there helping people. This disaster has hurt so many and destroyed lives. Still the heart of my community is strong and I have seen so many great people helping one another.

This leads to the HUGE thank you for the donations. I am making sure if I cannot physically get to bunny owners who need food that they are also getting a part of these donations. Many people have lost jobs, homes, cars and so much more. I have been in my small town volunteering with clean up. I do not have cell service or wifi at my house so I am trying to keep everyone updated the best that I can. Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

These may not be bunnies but these two needed rescuing in Marshall off the French Broad River. The entire river smells like fuel, mostly kerosene. There were many gas cans and fuel tanks in the water. Most likely from the homes and campsites that were swept away. This cute duck and salamander will be safe with us.
All the bunnies and other critters at Bouncing Bunny are safe and being loved. While I’m closed to intakes there are still bunnies here and in foster. As soon as I fix my truck I will try to get out and deliver any supplies I can to other bunnies in need. I’ll add more pics on the comments of what has happened to my town.

I have a beautiful foster who has lost everything. Her home was on Main Street in Marshall and is under water. My community as a hole has been greatly affected and are now coming together to start clean up efforts. Daisy was very loved at this fosters and they have a heart of gold. I picked up Daisy before the storm so she is safe with me.

This cutie pie still needs to be spayed, and I will schedule that’s soon. Fostering to adopt is a great way to get to know if a bunny is a good match for you. She will do amazing in a loving home.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I will no longer be rescuing rabbits. I will hopefully find homes for the ones that are adoptable
