Bowie West ‘Taxi’ is our incredible Merle Sable Border Collie that loves playing with kids, going on adventures in the ute, and cuddles in the shade.
You might be thinking- ‘Taxi... what a weird name’, and you’d be right to think so; we did too, but when you have a three year old little boy who is dog obsessed and he picks the name, it kind of sticks.
It was about a month later when we saw a taxi at a Shopping Centre that he told us - “it’s the same as our Taxi”, that was when we realised he was right- they’re both black, white and orange!!
Bowie West “Taxi’ has an incredible nature and is the perfect family dog. We love her so much, even when she refuses to look at the camera!
Bowie Wast ‘Taxi’ has had one litter, consisting of four beautiful pups (all girls), three Sables that look like her, and a ‘red’/cream pup. All of her amazing puppies have found their forever homes and are enjoying their families!

FACTS ABOUT TRANSPORTATION ✈️🚐
Finding the perfect pup for your family can be challenging, but once you’ve found them- there is one more hurdle that MOST people experience- transportation.
Bowie West Border Collies is dedicated to making the transition as simple as possible.
We have a list of approved Animal Transportation businesses that we use, unfortunately, any other businesses we do not accept.
We are happy to organise transportation for you, and send you an invoice, alternatively, we can share our accepted transportation businesses with you to contact them directly.
We will drive to our closest City and drop our puppies off for transport pickup at no cost. If you require air transport, we can take the puppies to Brisbane for a reasonable travel cost.
When we arrive at the drop-off point, we will video call you or send you photos of the puppy being transferred into the vehicle. We will also send written confirmation of this. A this point, your final payment must have been made; the payment must be in our account, unless previously arranged Payment Plan.
Bowie West Border Collies is only in their start-up stages. We will in the future include $200 in our pricing for transportation; applies for full-priced puppies that haven’t had price reduction. This $200 can be paid directly to the transport company or reduced from the final price to yourself. If you do not require transportation, the price does not change.
If you need transportation, contacting the company is the easiest way to work out what to do with your puppy pack.
Some businesses take the packs with them, while others don’t take any responsibility; never fear- we’ll either pack it up and post it to you, or we’ll label everything and send it with your pup.

Reminiscing on the birth of an unusual coloured puppy, one we didn’t expect!
Bowie West ‘Nell’ is considered a ‘Red’ Border Collie, although you would assume she was closer to cream. With her mum in the background, Bowie West ‘Taxi’, you can see the love for one of her first puppies.
A purely beautiful moment that we are so honoured to share!
As a mum myself, I feel great compassion and love towards our Bowie West Border Collies. I think it is absolutely beautiful to see puppies bought into the world, what an incredible job their mumma’s do.
I’m in awe, and we’re about to go through it again!

Specifics: Bowie West ‘Harry’ is our incredibly stunning Stud that enjoys the finer things in life; cuddles, belly rubs and being spoilt rotten! Harry is a Purebred Blue Merle Double-Coat Border Collie that stands at mid-thigh height. Harry is 2 years old and a proven sire.
Harry didn’t have the greatest start to life, he has come so far and we couldn’t be more proud of the loveable and playful dog that’s become such a huge part of our life, our family.

She’s off to the big smoke of Darwin on the 17th to live with her new family, a life full of excitement, fun and a whole lot of fun! ✈️
We’ve nicknamed her ‘Darwin’ for the past few weeks, and her personality’s developing more and more everyday. She looks exactly the same as her mum Bowie West ‘Taxi’ and loves the attention from our children!

Three little medium length boys awaiting their forever home.
Due to flooding and Covid-19 Restrictions, we were unable to advertise our litters as early as wanted. Some good come from this as we have found some amazing homes recently for our beloved Bowie West Border Collie Pups, and with only 3 from 13 puppies total remaining, we are hoping to find these three little champs their forever homes too.
Bowie West Border Collies come microchipped, vaccinated and wormed every two weeks.
They come with a puppy pack to help them on their way including the vet documentation, a bed and blanket, comfort & teething toys and a collar. All of this is familiar to the puppy, helping to ensure their transition to their new home is smooth and without stress.

Meet Macaroni/ Mac 🐾
Macaroni lives in Brisbane with my brother, his wife and 1 year old daughter.
Macaroni was a Christmas gift for Francene, and its safe to say she’s becoming quite a lot of fun for their daughter Riley.
Macaroni will live a life of adventure, exercise and good-old-fashion family fun. With an older ‘brother’ Pablo (Australian Shepard) and ‘sister’ Lottie (Labrador/Kelpie), Macaroni has great examples of fantastic natured animals.

Nell found her forever home with someone very special to us; my mum!
My mum is an ultra-marathon runner/fitness fanatic/crazy lady who owns 100000 pairs of runners, on a bit of a break at the moment but working her way back to her peak.
Nell is very loved and spoilt, she’s going to live an adventurous and exciting life exploring beaches, rainforests, running tracks and resting in my mums backpack when she’s had enough.

We work hard to ensure our animals are kept happy and healthy, their humanity comes first, and they definitely don’t lack any love or affection. With two children ourselves, our Dogs and Puppies are always exposed to children, small hands, and sometimes rough play (monitored and within reason).
