From the moment she arrived at the shelter, this sweet kitten’s loving personality captured our hearts. Butterfly has a remarkable ability to bring warmth into every room. We couldn't help but feel that Butterfly, along with her siblings Ariana and Sammy, were too good for us— overflowing with love and sweetness that seemed to fill everyone with joy.
Now, she’s on her way to a life filled with endless love and security, knowing she will never want for affection again. We are so grateful to her new family for opening their hearts and home to her. We can't wait to hear about the beautiful bond they will share and all the wonderful moments that lie ahead.

She now has a quiet room all her own, filled with cozy beds, toys, and everything she needs to feel safe and loved. Goldie’s new family are remarkable animal advocates who have dedicated their time and effort to fostering, rescue work, and providing hospice care to animals in need. Their love for animals knows no bounds, and in a beautiful display of generosity, they have even made a donation to the shelter after adopting Goldie, continuing their commitment to helping animals in need. We are beyond grateful to the ZF Transmissions team for joining forces with us at the shelter last Friday as part of their corporate Giving Day initiative. It was truly heartwarming to see their employees dedicate their time and effort to make a difference in our community and support CCA’s mission.
This year, regular volunteer Beate Mies of the Gray Court team brought along two of her colleagues and together with volunteers from Michelin, ScanSource, Greenville Water, and one proud retiree, they formed a powerhouse team that tackled various tasks around the shelter.
From clearing debris left by Hurricane Helene to installing polymax on kennels, there was no job too big or small for this cheerful group. Each person worked tirelessly throughout the day, leaving behind a trail of hard work, sweat, and smiles.
Thank you, ZF Transmissions, for embodying the spirit of giving and for making a difference in the lives of those in need. Your kindness and hard work serve as an inspiration to us all.
