They are teasing hitting and abusing her. Dadeg who helped us rescue Charlie in Egypt will get her now. Such Evil people. Where we found Charlie who was beaten with rocks in Egypt and died. Are you able to help us raise at least $150 but she needs a lot more, the dog will be taken by Dadeg to a safe place where she will try to get her adopted and be treated with anything she needs. Dadeg is a wonderful person who works tirelessly in Egypt saving dogs that are so badly tortured and injured. Please can you help us help her? We check thoroughly for illnesses, assess behaviour and ensure any dog who comes to the UK has been prepared for travel and it’s new home. The team care for our dogs, rehabilitate them and bring them to the UK so they know the people they are with from the moment they are rescued from a kill shelter to the moment they arrive at their forever adopted home. We do everything we possibly can every inch of the way to ensure the dog never suffers again and has every need tended to that we can possibly provide. The work we put into our dogs after rescue, is worth it. Our dogs transition well from Rescue Centre to home due to the rehabilitation and the rescue centre work. *Note that this is not the rescue centre we have our dogs at, this is a public shelter in Romania* As Romanian Dog rescuers, myself and Linda Ann Storey, I don’t think a day goes past when I we don’t get nasty comments or criticism about rescuing dogs from a foreign country. Do we care? No not anymore! To be honest it’s like water of of a ducks back now, and I put it down to pure ignorance or the genuine lack of care for ALL animals. I acknowledge there are dogs in the UK who need rehoming, and just as deserving in many ways BUT a dog in Romania is subjected to the most horrendous end. Even today I have news of horrific killings in a shelter. It makes me sick to my core. In the UK people give up their pets and hand them to a kennel, and there they stay until a home is found. That is not the same in Romania. The cruelty that a dog suffers the moment it is no longer wanted is unspeakable. I’m the UK we have measures in place to rehome and take care of dogs, the people at fault for our over filled kennels are the owners and the breeders and largely the UK for no regulation of dog licences and what I like to call “Greeders”. In Romania dogs are as disposable as shoes and often last that long. They serve a purpose and are not respected by many. There are wonderful Romanians working so hard to do there bit but it’s not enough. Spay and neuter campaigns cannot work fast enough and they work selflessly and tirelessly trying. We set up our rescue to rehome dogs with no threat to the UK problem. Our dogs are all rehabilitated in Romania and are throroughly assessed befor entering the UK and to a home not a kennel. The UK well known rescue make it very difficult for adopters to adopt often such a strict set criteria completely eliminates so many wonderful potential homes. So why do we rescue from Romania, well you’ll see in this video, they aren’t in cosy kennels here but this one is clean and they are fed, but imagine this shelter with hundreds of
