Several students from Nersba were able to visit us yesterday for a learning opportunity. Students were taught about the importance of preventative care in veterinary medicine. They were also educated about the prevalence of heartworms and how to prevent them. An assistant showed the students various radiographs and went over radiology terms. Students were able to view several surgeries including canine and feline spays and neuters, as well as a dental cleaning.

This is my cat Kierra. My 11 year old cat! She used to hobble around the house and sometimes required assistance to get on my bed. Well, not anymore. She has been on Solensia for 3 months. It is a monthly injection for osteoarthritis in cats. Kierra now climbs to the top of the cat tree, jumps on the kitchen table (and every where else she shouldn’t be), and runs around the house begging everyone for attention (even the kids).
