BH Boughton’s fostering this cute otter for BH Ruby, who had 8! Ruby was feeding all 8 and doing a great job, but since Boughton only had 2 and is a great mom, we wanted to help her out.
This is Boughton’s 3rd litter. Her first litter produced BH Nelli, who was on 🔥 all fall season, and her second litter produced BH Lux!

These cartoon loving rabbits are being pretty judgmental about their current status. No electricity means battery powered fans and a radio jamming George Strait. I told them they could be out in the cold and are pretty lucky 😂

Happy Birthday to these amazing assets to the show team this year! Both girls are currently bred (Danger is at her aunt Jenna’s!). We hope to see their babies on the tables next year!

Friday we played extreme rabbit jenga and headed to Hutchinson for the NYE show.
Chase had a successful weekend with 4 BOB and 2 BOSB between rex and mini rex. It was a great way to close an AMAZING fall season, even with his top winning mini rex and rex at home!
Mini Rex and Rex youth both had huge numbers represented with gorgeous animals.
It’s always fun to see our friends and make new ones. Congratulations to them all for their wins on the tables this weekend 🎉

We were so proud to see BH Spicy step up and fill the shoes of BH Diva, the beautiful white doe who was a rex power house this fall, winning many BIS! Spicy is an excellent junior and we cannot wait to see her compete this spring 🤍
This show was an end to the show careers of most of the Rex and Mini Rex on the fall show team (many of the best had already retired and didn’t make the trip - Diva, Nelli, and many gorgeous broken does). It’s always sad to see them retire, but exciting to see them enter the breeding program. We also had a few very young juniors who made their show debuts with excellent comments!
Parents of youth exhibitors, please remember the sportsmanship shown by you or your children are very important! At some of the shows this fall (both breeds), it seems like since Chase won BOB at ARBA convention it has made it especially exciting to to see his rabbits go off the table. We take much pride in how much Chase loves exhibiting and sets a good example by winning and losing gracefully. He understands it’s ok not to win, even though it seems to be expected of him all of the time. The show time on a rabbit is short and a rabbit who was on a fire a month ago may be slipping coat or past their prime. He may be an older youth, but is still a youth and it’s not ok to cheer, arm pump, brag, jump up and down, or cry in excitement to see his rabbits get pulled off the table or win breed over him.
While this is not common, it happens.
We cannot wait to see you all in a few months for the spring season 😍

Like father, like son!
On the left is BH Greg, on his way to a show. On the right is his son, BH Yoder, on the way to last weekends show. Both were about 6 months old in the photos and they look and act alike!
Greg has many offspring on the show team right now. His son, BH Magic Mike won his first BOS this weekend.

We had a great weekend showing at the Missouri State Convention! Chase had an amazing show winning BOB and BOS mini rex on Sunday, going on to win RIS. He also won BOB and BOS rex both Saturday and Sunday!
It was a huge turn out and we got to see so many of our friends!
Congratulations to Sandra and Jake & Christian on their mini rex wins Saturday and to all our other friends on their breed wins!

🎉We loaded up bright and early and headed to the Bunny Bunch show in Manhattan, KS. Chase had an amazing day, bringing home 3 mini rex BIS!
We had a great day seeing many of our friends. Bunny Bunch always puts on very well ran shows and even with it being a larger show, we were on our way home around 3pm!
Congrats to all our friends with their wins! Caci & Hannah won the open mini rex specialty, Karen Hanson won the mini rex open A & B shows and a RIS and Jake & Christian took home a RIS with their mini satin!

Working on Christmas ornaments to give out at Mo state convention in a few weeks. They are laminated and now only need black ribbon. This is as creative as grandma rabbit gets 🤣

*I keep getting private messages and comments wanting to know how much these are from scammers of some sort. It’s giving me a good laugh at least!

Happy 1st Birthday to BH Gizmo 🥳
BH Gizmo didn’t have much of a show career due to breaking his toe at his very first show. He’s out of the same crossing as BH Greg and absolutely beautiful. He would have been an amazing show buck this fall and it was such a disappointment when he was unable to show. We’re hoping to have a litter from him very soon!

2 new litters born!
We’re super excited BH Baby Fancy had a successful litter of 6! She’s the only kit that survived when her mom, BH Fancy, delivered this spring and pr*****ed. She was raised with BH Gabi’s litter. While BH Baby Fancy never made the show team, we’re hoping she passes some of her moms amazing traits.
