Our Happy Dogs Welcome to Our Happy Dogs online. We are a family run business that started out of a love for all things canine. So just who are we? We currently have two dogs.

Specialising in Dog training for all ages and All you doggy equipment from beds to toys to sparkly collars. Well Our Happy Dogs was born out of our love for dogs. We have been on quite a journey with dogs and are very passionate about all aspects of their care and well being. One is a young German Shepard bitch and the other is a cross between a German Shepard and Ibizan Hound (Podenco). Having sp

ent the last 16 years living and working in Spain we returned to the UK and settled in the Scottish countryside

OurHappyDogs.com was conceived as a single hangout for dog lovers. We have worked with and are currently working with some excellent professionals in the industry to give help and advice on training, behavioral issues and diet. On our own personal journey with our young German Shepard we have met many trainers and so called experts which whilst all very nice and pleasant have for the most part failed to give good consistent advice

It is from all this that Blanefield Dog Centre has emerged. Over the years in Spain particularly, we struggled to find any real help with dog training and really struggled to find a place we could get the training advice and support we needed so we decided to train ourselves. We offer Dog training for all ages and all issues. Training your dog is a journey that you both take together and not an owner shouting instructions to a confused looking dog. Positive reinforcement is at the heart of all our training and is proven to give better and longer lasting results. So if you need a little help training your new puppy, have issues with certain bothersome behavior, want your dog to make some lovely new friends, Blanefield Dog centre is the place to go. One of the things we are passionate about is the diet of our dogs and just what is going into them. We currently feed them on the B.A.R.F diet (Bone and raw food) and they are doing really well. The main difference from the outside is what comes out the other end. Our German Shepard Tatiana is a big girl and she leaves the smallest p**p you have ever seen compared to huge piles of it when on the dried food. This shows just how much of the raw food they are using and how much of the dried food is just fillers and comes straight out the other end. As we say on our B.A.R.F page we are working hard at the moment to bring you a range of the best Raw Food for your pooches so keep an eye open.

According to a new study in Denver it seems that stress is showing itself in dogs by way of premature grey hairs.Just as in people too much stress is obviously bad but can be treated in dogs with some behavior modification.
