It’s ‘Wishes Do Come True Wednesday’ and today we celebrate 14 special cats and kittens who have found their furever homes and had their adoptions finalize since October 1st 2025.

Our paws are in the air saying ‘yay’ for them!

We could not be happier knowing how very much these furry felines are loved by their humans!

To witness the transformation from scared or sick, to confident and healthy; from cold and hungry, to warm and well fed; from survival mode to settled…it’s all beyond ameowzing! All of our cats and kittens get their second chance because of our pawsome fosters and a community that supports the work of the rescue.

Dear Santa Paws: we don't want a home for the holidays...we are ready now or after the Christmas season! We know it's better to bring us home at a quieter time, so we can have the best chance to settle and get used to our new humans and our new home!

Whiskers and Alley Cats will put a pause on adoptions from December 19, 2025 to January 2, 2026. We know the holidays are a busy time for everyone - including our fosters and our volunteers - and we want everyone to have some time to relax, connect with family and friends, and recharge for all that 2026 will bring our way.

We also believe that pets aren’t presents as the commitment is for a lifetime, and not just for a season. For that reason, we want to make sure that adoption decisions are made at the best time for everyone!

But don’t let this stop you from checking out our adoptable cats album and making ‘adopt a cat or kitten from Whiskers and Alley Cats’ your number one New Year’s resolution for 2026!!

We will still be accepting adoption applications during this time.

Meet pretty silver Bengal lady Sora, She absolutely loves the companionship of humans after settling in. She just adores being in the presence of her humans and will follow them from room to room. Sora can be a little shy when she meets new people (aren't we all!), but once she's comfortable, she's so loving and playful. She can play fetch for hours and enjoys her cat wheel.
Sora would love to be an only pet so she can soak up all the attention and be with her people as much as possible. She adores attention and is a great companion. She is scared of large dogs.
Sora is 5 years old spayed pure breed silver Bengal.

Her name is Casper, but it no longer suits her.

She has overcome her shyness and has become a diva!

She gets along with cats and dogs, as long as they bend to her will. Kids, she adores!
