📢 Temporarily Closing Down📢

Believe me, when I say I am as shocked & heartbroken as you!! Sadly this decision was out of our hands 😔 On returning from our holiday we were met with the heartbreaking news that our manufacturer had closed down!

Why can't you just get another manufacturer you ask? As you know our products are very unique, from the sizing to the materials. This means that we basically need to start from scratch and find a new manufacturer who can make our products to our unqiue specification. Then we will have to strength test before we can begin production. This process could take months!!

So sadly we must close our doors & we are unsure if/when we will be able to reopen them!

🛍️ It does mean that we need to clear all our current stock, as any new products would not be 100% the same and with that being said everything online is now up to...70% off!!🛍️

We honestly can not thank you enough for all the support you have given up over the past 3.5 years, it has truly meant the world ♥️ and i hope this is not the end!!

So I’m not going to say goodbye but simply - See you soon! 🐾

BP Team have officially put their out of office on!!

After a hectic few months we have decided to take a much needed break from running the business.

Running your own business is a 24/7 thing & we’ve had a lot going on in the past few months, that has left me feeling a little burnt out.

Don’t worry though it’s not for long - you won’t even notice we are gone 😉

That does mean that Social DMs & emails will not be dealt with until we are back in the office.

We have also updated our website dispatch times to ensure you are kept fully up to date on when your order will be dispatched.

Is your Dog’s Harness restricting their joint movement??

There are so many different styles of harnesses on the market, each designed with a specific functionality in mind.

The hard part is knowing which one is right for your pup!

Each pups requirements will vary but the main thing you want to consider is your Pups joint movements. Here are a few key things to look out for…

🐾 Chest Strap should sit 2-3 fingers from your Dogs front leg

🐾 Buckle should sit behind the shoulder blades

🐾 Neck strap should sit above the shoulder blades but 2-3 fingers from their neck / wear their collar sits

If your pups harness is fitted correctly you should be able to feel their shoulder plate without having to move the harness straps / padding.

Being a Dog Parent isn’t cheap but we hate the fact that the larger your Dog the more you have to pay!!

From their food, to their insurance & then to top it off their attire - which most the time doesn’t fit / is boring dull colours!!

We felt your pain & that’s exactly why our products are all made using high-quality materials but don’t have that horrible increases to the cost!

Let’s talk about the eCollar Ban!!

It’s that elephant in the room that a lot of businesses don’t want to talk about. They don’t want to say which side of the debate they’re on, in fear of upsetting their customers!

For us though we think as a business it’s important that our pupstomers align with our values & that can only happen if we are open any honest about them!

So here it is…

Hearing that the eCollar ban is coming in 2024 is AMAZING!! We think this is a historic moment in animal welfare & only hope that more of these outdated tools / training techniques follow suit!

To accessories or not to accessories, that is the question…

Last weeks news of the ecollar ban was historic 🎉 but some of the comments from dog owners that use them were shocking!!

One that really stood out for us was that us Dog Parents choosing to put their dog in funky designs & accessories like bow ties creates behaviour issues 🤷🏼‍♀️

As a brand that believe practical doesn’t have to mean boring, we believe it’s all about the right product paired with training - not the design that makes the difference!

Do you use the right lead when it comes to training your Dog??

Standard Leads - are the pawfect all rounder. Whether you’re going for a walk or trying to do a bit of training. These can vary in width & length. Our Leads at BP are 2.5cm Width & 5ft long, making them strong and durable enough for all sizes.

Slip Leads - designed for working Dogs & when you just need something quick to pop on and off for safety. It’s not advised to use these on dogs who pull as they can cause serious damage to your Pups neck.

Long Line / Flexi Lead - both designed for recall training. To allow your dog a bit more freedom without the worry of your Dog not re-calling.
