A lovely walk through field and forest with a pub at the end 👌

90% of this route was open fields and bridleway. There are 2 short narrow bits where you would have to pass right by anyone you meet.

It was really quiet today which was lovely, we meet 3 people and a horse & rider. Just a little horse awareness, if you are wanting to step to the side as they pass make sure the horse can still see you at all times. Sounds like common sense... But when I moved off the path I didn't realise I couldn't be seen anymore. This could be dangerous as the horse could get spooked when it finally sees you. Thank you to the lovely rider who took a second to bring this to my attention, I will definitely be more aware of it moving forward. Her advice was to stay in sight and as they get closer take a step back to give space.

Absolute credit to the dogs and their owners, these guys were so well behaved while the horse passed 🥰

This walk will definitely be muddy in the wetter weather but a day like today was just glorious. Make sure to wear suitable footwear, the ground can be quite uneven.

If you have any doubt about your dogs recall, please please keep them on the lead around here. There is livestock, horses, people and dogs. Keep everyone safe.

Climbing Snowdon has been something I have wanted to do for a few years now and this weekend we made it!

It's a lovely, yet challenging walk. We used the the park and ride service at Nant Paris, https://snowdoninfo.com/snowdon-park-and-ride/. It was £5 to park the car for the day and then £3 each return on the bus.

We went up the Pyg track and back down Llanberis track. Our moving time was roughly 5hrs but we were up and down in about 6hrs 30mins when adding in some small breaks and lunch time!

My brothers dog, Jade, had a fantastic time and mine would have enjoyed the walk but sadly I would not recommend this walk for reactive dogs. It was very busy all the way to the top and back down (and we set off at 8am). A range of people, dogs, sheep, runners and bicycles. These particular routes can get a little narrow and you will pass shoulder to shoulder with others. I'm sure, like everywhere, there will be quieter days but Snowdon is a very accessible mountian and so understably very popular.

There is a train from Llanberis and cafe at the top which are open and running during certain times of the year. And there are many different routes you can take hiking to the top and down.

I'm super proud of us for taking on this challenge and getting each other to the top! Was fantastic to share this experience with some of the best people

As always! Do some research before you go out on adventure walks to new places, make sure someone knows your rough plan and make sure you take sufficient supplies with you.
