Some of our lovely kittens are still to choose their new families. Cariad is enormous and purrs like a train! Hypatia is the fun lover. Aurora’s the quietest and very sweet natured.

Very happy to announce that on 1st February Mouse finally went into labour and delivered 6 beautiful kittens overnight. So far all seems well and she and I are enjoying the tiny baby mice 🥰

Good day at the National and Maidstone & Medway joint shows. 😊

Our youngest cat and first stud, Claude, entered his first Olympian Adult class and was placed 5th of 11 cats. 🥳 He also won best of breed. 😃He was only in the one show as I was working with the judge for his class in the National.

Kitnook Benji (now in the care of Mo MacDonnell) exceeded all expectations and won one of his Olympian Neuter classes beating 16 other cats. 🥰 He was placed 4th in the other show, and so continues to have always been placed in the Oly class. (Only the top 5 are placed.) He also took Best of Breed in both shows and went on to be awarded Best of Variety section 4 neuter in one 🎉. So proud of our home bred boys 💕

Mouse is now home, though I am not sure she didn’t want to stay with her friends up North! 😁

And I am knackered, having had a long day on not a great amount of sleep. Going for a nap! 💤

We are delighted that all three of our active Sphynx - Kika, Mouse and Claude - have all now had their annual HCM scans and all were normal 😃

Super day at the Sphynx Cat Club, Somerset, and West Country shows 😊. Mouse finally got a grand certificate from Helen Marriott-Power after two previous reserves 😁. Dottie was awarded two grand certificates, and subject to confirmation, is now a Grand Premier; she also won Best of Breed in the Sometset show and went on to get Best of Variety! Claude was a superstar, despite scratching his way to several scabs, he was awarded two Imperial certificates, two Best of Breeds and Best in Show Adult in the Sphynx Cat Club Show. Almost a red card day, he only missed out in the Sphynx Club class, but bizarrely there was no first in that particular class!

Our former red collar boy has a new colour and a new name, Dobby. I love watching cats have a wash so made the most of having a kitten having a go 😊

Nearly 5 weeks old and learning to play

Today the kittens met a new handler and were introduced to the smell of dogs - all of which was pretty relaxed. Headline though was Archie eating a helping of kitten milk with baby rice - weaning has begun!

So Mr Yellow became the first one to fully open both eyes 😃

Thanks to a local handyman still being willing to make and deliver some brackets, we have completed securing the garden and the cats have lazing about outside all morning 😊

Well at least she’s leaving the Lego alone... not that a large amount of isn’t already on the floor!
