Chicken of the week!

Diamond is one of our smaller chickens. The small patterns on her body make her near impossible to find in the woods. If you happen to see two small eggs in your carton in place of one one egg, those are from Diamond!

This weeks chicken is Liz!

Liz is one of our brooding hens. She spends her days keeping baby Night warm and protected. Although we have many chickens, we are experiencing a lower quantity of eggs due to her dedication to Night.

We have been running out of eggs!!!! Thank you so much for your support! Our girls are having a blast with this. We are sorry we have been low. Please continue to stop by. We are taking multiple trips to the coup for eggs to try keep up. If you are interested in duck eggs, reach out. We can sell them once a week at a half dozen for 5 bucks. We keep them refridgerated and rinsed (we are finding them in the mud).

We have a new chicken of the week!

Pepper likes to spend her days hiding in the woods. She is quite shy but loves running around the barns and woods. Even though her feathers are bright red, she can play a mean game of hide and seek!

Meet our employee of the week Bleach! Bleach is the newest layer to our flock and our only white egg layer. While her eggs may be small now, it won’t be long before she lays some of the largest eggs of the flock. Bleach enjoys her time exploring the woods, barns, and yard. She’s also made her name as the escape artist and often is seen sneaking out before the days free range begins.

I can't express how proud I am of this woman and this horse. Not only did they both lose their best friend in an animal a few weeks ago but they have been working together nonstop. Stephanie not only overcome losing her horse she had been with for 18 years, she took a horse many would not show again and brought him back to the picture. Vinny has stepped up in a big way and it is not without stating how much love and work Stephanie has poured into him. Proud of you both.

We had some cousins visit the horses today! And yes, they got to see the puppies as well.
